WBJEE 2021 Registration process ends today

WBJEE 2021: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2021 online registration period will close on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Interested and worthy candidates will apply for the WBJEE 2021 online until 5 p.m. today at wbjeeb.nic.in. The WBJEE will be held in two shifts on July 11, 2021, by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB). There will be two papers in WBJEE 2021. Paper 1 is about math, and Paper 2 is about physics and chemistry. Both papers will be 100 points each and will be administered using an OMR system. The mathematics paper will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., while the physics and chemistry paper will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The admit card for the WBJEE exam will be issued on July 6, 2021, at the earliest. Educational Qualification:

Engineering courses: Candidates must have passed the qualifying exam, i.e., Class 12th with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects, as well as any one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Computer Application, or technical vocational subject, with individual pass marks in both theory and practical wherever applicable, in all of the subjects. They must also have received at least 45 percent (40 percent for reserved category candidates) in all three subjects. They should have earned at least a 30% on the English paper in 12th grade.

Pharmacy courses: Candidates applying for pharmacy courses must have passed the qualifying test, which includes physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology as a compulsory subject in Class 12th, with individual pass marks in both theory and practical wherever appropriate, in all three subjects in standard class mode. Candidates must have earned 45 percent in all three subjects. They should also have received at least 30 percent on the English paper.

Application fee: Candidates in the general category must pay a $500 application fee. The registration fee for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates is Rs. 400.

The exam will be held on July 11th, 2021: According to the exam authority's official notification, the WBJEE 2021 registration process began on February 23, 2021, in an online format through the exam portal. Aspirants who want to take the state-level engineering entrance exam, which will be held on July 11th, 2021, can apply now. The exam will be held in two shifts in offline mode (pen and paper). Exams for Mathematics will be held in the first shift from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Physics and Chemistry will be held in the second shift from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
