Application form for UPRTOU B.Ed.:


  • Candidates need to visit the official website of the university and fill in details such as your name, father's name, birth date, course name, home, and category.
  • Upon providing the aforesaid information, candidates will receive bank challan including the online registration number.
  • Candidates must use the online created challan to make the payment of the application form. Via online transfers, you can also make payments.
  • In addition, applicants must use the registration number, date of birth and unique Challan number to log into their account.They also need to upload the colored copy of their signature and photograph.
  • Candidates must then submit the completed application form along with payment proof to the authority concerned by speed post or registered post.The form sent through courier will not be Acknowledged.

Eligibility Criteria for UPRTOU B.Ed.:


Applicants that have met the following requirements are only eligible to fill out the application form—

  • Candidates from the state of Uttar Pradesh complete a teacher education programme recognised via the face-to-face mode by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
  • The list of recognised NCTE courses is as shown here (DECEd, DPSE, D.EL.Ed / BTC, B.EL.Ed, B.Ed, M.Ed, DPEd, BPEd, MPEd, D.Ed., Diploma in Visual Arts Education, Diploma in Performing Arts Education, BABEd./B.Sc.B.Ed. 4 Years Curriculum Integrated, B.Ed. M.Ed! M.Ed. Integrated curriculum for Face to face mode for 3 years and every other NCTE approved Teacher Training Course.)
  • Candidates who have received a Bachelor / Master of Science / Social Sciences / Humanities degree of at least 50 percent will be eligible for admission to the B.Ed programme.
  • Applicants with at least 55% engineering or technological marks with a degree in science and mathematics, applicants with at least 55% marks, or any other comparable qualification shall be qualified for admission.
  • Candidates who have passed the graduate examination with two subjects from a recognised university or one of the following subjects at the graduation level and one subject at the internal level will be eligible: Hindi, English, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Mathematics, Home Science, History, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, and Commerce.

Exam pattern:


  • Part-A- General Mental Capacity and General Knowledge (50 percent Weightage) (50 percent Weightage)
  • Part-A Syllabus: history, science, politics, literature, culture, schooling, geography, etc.
  • Part-B- Teaching skill (40% weight) and comprehension in two teaching subjects (30 percent Weightage to each Subject)
  • Syllabus for Part B Candidates who have selected two subjects in the syllabus from Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science and Social Science will receive questions from the two subjects.
  • Each segment will have 100 questions of the objective form, which must be completed in 3 hours. Applicants must be present in their seats 20 minutes before the test begins. If you arrive after 30 minutes of the test commencement, you will not be allowed to write your examination. At the exam centre, you will be allowed to bring a BLACK BALL POINT PEN with you.

Result & Counselling


  • The result of the UPRTOU B.Ed 2021 admission will be declared on the official website of the University.
  • As per their success in the test, candidates will be shortlisted.
  • The authority will draw up a merit list based on the marks earned by the applicants.
  • Selected candidates will be asked to attend a counselling session where their college preference needs to be suggested.
  • A seat will be allocated to the applicants according to their rank of merit and the choices specified during the counselling.
  • Candidates need to pay Rs. 16000/- for admission in first year at the time of counselling.
  • The admission fee may be charged by means of a request sent to the "financial officer, UPRTOU Allahabad payable to Allahabad"

Admission procedure:


  • Candidates can obtain admission on the basis of the marks they have obtained during the entrance examination.
  • On the basis of the category reservation, they can get admission.
  • Sending the hard copy to the exam conducting authority is important for them.
  • Only those candidates will be called for counselling who have been clear the exam and secured place in the merit list.
