Syllabus for AP DEECET 2021:

 

Syllabus for Part A –  A.P. State syllabus form class VI to X

Syllabus for Part B-Two Years Intermediate Education Board of A.P. Syllabus Condition.Maths: Those who have studied Mathematics at Intermediate level as a subject.

  • Physical Science: Those who have studied intermediate subjects in physics and chemistry.
  • Biological science: Those who have studied botany, their intermediate subjects are zoology.
  • Social Studies: Those who studied two subjects, namely, Civics, Economics, History, Geography, Commerce, out of five subjects.

Eligibility Criteria for AP DEECET 2021:

 

Nationality

  • The candiates must be of Indian nationality and, as set by the institutions of Andhra Pradesh, they should have met the criteria of Loacl / Non Local status.

Age Limit

  • Applicants applying for AP DEECET must be 17 years of age on or after 1 September of the year of admission.

Rank

  • A candidate belonging to the 'OC' and 'BC' groups must secure a minimum of 50 percent of the DEECET marks in order to receive a DEECET rank. The minimum qualifying mark for the assignment of seats reserved under the respective categories will be 45 percent for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically Challenged applicants. That is to say, candidates belonging to the SC and ST communities should secure 50 percent of the seats in the OC/NCC/CAP/Sports category for consideration.

 

Educational Qualifications:

  • As determined by the DEECET Committee for appearance at the DEECET, the applicant should have passed or appeared for an Intermediate Examination (Qualifying Exam) or its equivalent. However, at the time of admission, he/she ought to have passed the qualifying test.
  • In the Qualifying Examination for participating in the DEECET for both 'A' and 'B' group seats, the candidates should have obtained 50 percent of the marks in aggregate. However, the minimum percentage of marks for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically Disabled applicants in the qualifying exam is 45 percent for both 'A' and 'B' group seats.

Eligibility Criteria Subject – Wise

 

  • Mathematics: The candidates must have studied Mathematics at Intermediate level.
  • Biological Science: Botany and Zoology at Intermediate level would have been learned by the candidates.
  • Physical Science: Candidates must have trained at the Intermediate stage of Physics and Chemistry.
  • Social studies: applicants who have studied either of the two subjects at intermediate level in the fields of civics, economics, history, trade and geography.
