CBSE 12th Board allows schools to conduct internal exams and submit results by June 28th

CBSE 12 Exam: For the 2020-21 academic year, the Central Board of Secondary Education has changed the method of administering school-based examinations. According to sources, because some schools were unable to conduct practical or internal assessment exams due to the pandemic, the board has given schools until June 28, 2021, to perform the exams online and upload the kids' grades. The board has published a list of subjects for which internal and practical exams will be held, as well as a breakdown of marks for theory and practical, project or internal assessment, and exam duration. When the CBSE appoints external examiners to conduct practical tests, the external examiners will decide on a date for the tests after discussing with the internal examiners and will conduct the viva voce online.

CBSE class 12 Assessment Pattern: The Central Board of Secondary Education has also instructed schools to publicize the dates for online internal examinations in advance and to share the URL to the line meet with students and external examiners on the day of the exam. The CBSE stated in a statement that in topics where external examiners have not been appointed, the subject's concerned school teachers will conduct internal assessments based on the curriculum's guidelines and upload the results to a link provided by the board.

Instructions to be followed by the examiners: Internal examiners will take an on-screen snapshot of each student, which should include the internal examiner, external examiner, and student, or a recording of the whole viva voce session for the school's records. The CBSE goes on to say that when uploading the marks, it's important to make sure you're uploading the correct ones because no changes can be made once they've been published. Examiners must keep in mind that the marks awarded should not be grouped together in order to achieve the maximum score, which is highly unlikely given the students' different levels. The CBSE further stated that the board will shortly announce the policy for conducting the practical/project/internal evaluation component for private students registered for the 2021 class 12 test.

CBSE 12th Result 2021 Evaluation Criteria: Following the decision to cancel the exam, Prime Minister Modi asked all parties to treat students with respect and to take whatever steps are necessary to safeguard their academic future. At the meeting, the Board decided to make the necessary efforts to produce the CBSE Class 12 Results 2021 in a timely manner, using well-defined objective criteria. He also stressed that the results preparation process should be fair, with no student feels left out.

Union Ministry of Education Letter: Pokhriyal addressed a letter to states and UTs on May 22 in which he indicated that the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, and CBSE are assessing options for holding examinations in the wake of the outbreak, according to the Union Ministry of Education. The coronavirus outbreak, according to the letter, has had an influence on a range of industries, including education, particularly board exams and entrance tests. Because of the rising number of COVID-19 cases, almost all State Education Boards, as well as CBSE and ICSE, have decided to postpone their Class XII exams till 2021. The National Testing Agency (NTA) and other national exam-conducting organizations have also postponed entrance tests for professional courses.
