Master of Science (MSc) in Cyber Security is a 2-year postgraduate degree program that focuses on cyber laws and cybersecurity. It involves research into communication networks and technology, as well as an examination of legal and ethical problems in the field of cybersecurity. Cybersecurity is a collection of technologies, procedures, and practices aimed at preventing attacks, harm, and unauthorized access to networks, computers, programs, and data. Information technology protection is another term for cybersecurity. It is a combination of information technology and law designed to prevent the manipulation and abuse of both personal and technical data. The MSc Cyber Security program covers topics such as ethical hacking, cyber rules, analytics, computer networking activities, information assurance, and more. Encryption, Signature Schemes, Hash Functions, and Authentication are the four main areas of online information security. Formulation of security-related feature assessments in both software and hardware, as well as estimating and minimizing security risks. Examine security vulnerabilities and provide practical solutions to security-related issues. Detect and deter cyber-attacks by putting in place various security measures, shielding internet users from frauds, data and identity theft, money theft, Dos attacks, and other types of attacker intrusions. To be eligible for the MSc Cyber Security course, the applicant must have obtained a BSc or BE/BTech degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or any other equivalent degree from a recognized institution. Candidates must achieve a minimum aggregate score of 50% to complete their graduation.


Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc. Cyber Security

To be eligible, applicants must hold a B Tech or B Sc in Computer Science/Computer Applications/IT/ECE/Statistics/Maths/Physics/Electronic Sc/IT/BCA from a recognized university.
