Common Admission Test (CAT)
The IIM's will host CAT 2021. (Indian Institute of Management). The exam will take place once a year. CAT scores are accepted by a number of business schools for admission to MBA, PGDM, and other programmes. In general, students who want to apply to IIMs will study for the CAT exams. The Standardized Aptitude Test (CAT) is a common entrance exam for India's 20 IIMs and over 1,200 business schools. IIMs conduct the CAT test on a rolling basis. In 2021, the CAT test was held in IIM Ahmedabad. The CAT inquiry article contains MCQs and non-MCQs from Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA). The CAT test is taken by approximately two lakh students every year. A total of 2.30 lakh CAT 2021 attracted 1.90 lakh applications, with 1.90 lakh applicants taking the exam. The CAT 2021 notification will be given in the last week of July, and registration will begin in the first week of August. In the last week of November, the CAT exam is held in 156 locations across India at various exam centres. Shortlisting for IIMs begins shortly after the CAT results are revealed in the first week of January. The CAT 2021 exam is set to take place on November 28. The CAT 2021 is accepted by over 2,000 other MBA institutes in India for admission to their PGP, MBA, and PGDM programmes. The CAT 2021 is an exam that evaluates a candidate's logical and analytical thinking abilities, as well as their numeric aptitude and general knowledge. Any student with a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university is eligible to take the CAT 2021 exam. It is the most popular entrance exam for Management admissions in India. CAT 2021 Eligibility
- An applicant must have earned a graduate degree in any field. Candidates in their last year/semester of their degree programme may also apply for CAT 2021.
- Candidates with a CA/CS/ICWA degree are also eligible (General: 50 percent & SC/ST/ PWD: 45 percent).
- Throughout terms of the CAT Age Limit, there is no set minimum or maximum age limit, and a student can take the exam up to eight times in their lifetime.

How to Apply for the CAT 2021
There are some steps to registering for the exam. :
- Step 1: Register - Go to the official CAT website and fill out your e-mail address, contact information, and date of birth.
- Step 2: Complete the CAT Application Form - Include your personal information, phone numbers, academic information, work experience, and choice for the programme, as well as a preference for the location of the exam.
- Step 3: Scan and Upload Documents – Scan and upload your documents in accordance with the CAT 2021 Photo Size, Dimension, Format and Other Information (Photo, Signatures & Needed Certified)

Exam Pattern for CAT 2021
Exam Type: Computer-based test
Total number of questions: 100
Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, and Reading Comprehension, and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning are the number of sections (there are three sub-sections).
Exam time: three hours, with one hour allotted to each component.
75 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with negative marking
Non-MCQs (questions with no negative marking): 25
Marking Scheme: +3 points for correct answers; -1 point for incorrect answers
CAT 2021 Syllabus
The IIMs do not provide a CAT syllabus. However, a list of commonly occurring subjects has been compiled based on the analysis of previous year's exam papers.
Geometry, Arithmetic progression, Installment Payments, Arithmetic mean, Logarithm, Work and time are all examples of quantitative aptitude.
Graphs, critical reasoning, statements and assumptions, syllogisms, and Venn diagrams are all DILR terms.

CAT 2021 Selection Process :
More than 2 lakh individuals take the CAT test each year, with those who score well enough in the CAT moving on to the CAT Selection Procedure. Applicants must pass the CAT 2021 cut-off, which is one of the prerequisites of the CAT 2021 screening process. How to Get the IIM CAT Admit Card 2021
- Visit the official website of CAT 2021 is iimcat.ac.in.
- Click the Login button under the title Login. Download the CAT Admit Card for the current year.
- To access your CAT admit card, enter your CAT login credentials (CAT User ID and Password) and click the login button.
- After you have provided all of your information, the admit card will display on the screen.
- You can now obtain your Hall Ticket for CAT EXAM.
- Make a duplicate of the admission card for future use.
CAT 2021 Result
The CAT 2021 results are declared on Monday at 5 pm. Candidates can now download their official CAT 2021 scorecards by logging onto the CAT 2021 website (www.iimcat.ac.in). This year, seven students from an engineering background and two from a non-engineering background scored 100 percentile in the IIM CAT examination.
CAT 2021 was successfully conducted on November 28, 2021, at 438 test centres spread across 156 cities in India.
Around 1.92 lakh candidates appeared for the exam out of 2.30 lakh registered eligible candidates. The overall attendance was approximately 83 percent.
Out of the total number of candidates, 35 percent were females, 65 percent were males and 2 candidates represented transgender.
The candidate's name, rank, registration, picture, sectional score, overall score, sectional percentile, and overall percentile will all appear on the CAT 2021 scorecard.
Answer Key for CAT 2021
