Common Admission Test (CAT)


CAT 2020 will conduct by IIM’s (Indian Institute of Management). The examination will be held once a year. Various B-Schools also accepts CAT Score for their admission in MBA, PGDM etc. Basically, the student who is aspiring to take admission in IIM’s will prepare for this exam. The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a common aptitude test that serves as a gateway to India's 20 IIMs and over 1,200 business schools. On a rotating basis, the IIMs perform CAT. The exam was held at IIM Indore last year. MCQs and non-MCQs from Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability make up the CAT query article (QA). Every year, over two lakh candidates take the CAT test. Approximately 2.30 lakh applications were received for CAT 2020, with 1.90 lakh candidates taking the examination. The notification for CAT 2021 will be released in the last week of July, with registration beginning in the first week of August. The CAT exam is conducted in 156 cities across India in the last week of November at various exam centres. The CAT results are released in the first week of January, and shortlisting for IIMs starts shortly after. On November 28, the CAT 2021 exam is scheduled to take place. 

Over 2,000 other MBA colleges in India approve the CAT 2021 for admission to their PGP, MBA, and PGDM programs. The CAT 2021 is a test that assesses a candidate's ability to think logically and analytically, as well as their quantitative aptitude and general knowledge. Any student who has earned a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in any field is entitled to take the CAT 2021 exam. In India, it is the most widely used entrance exam for MBA admissions. The exam is given in a single paper over multiple shifts on a single day. Management colleges use the CAT 2021 score to shortlist applicants for their GD/PI/WAT rounds.

CAT 2021 Selection Procedure

Every year, more than 2 lakh candidates take the CAT test, and those who score high enough in the CAT will be led further in the CAT Selection Procedure. The CAT 2021 screening process has a number of requirements, one of which is that applicants must pass the CAT 2021 cut-off. CAT 2021 Result

The candidates' CAT 2021 results are normally released in the first week of January by the Institutes of Management (IIMs), which administer the exam on a rotational basis every year. CAT 2021 results are available on the exam's official website in an online format. When the CAT 2021 scorecard is available, it is also sent as an SMS to the candidate's registered mobile phone. The CAT result is not sent in a hard copy by IIMs. IIMs and other CAT participating management institutes will produce a list of shortlisted students based on CAT outcomes and their individual selection processes as part of their selection process.

The scorecards will not be mailed but can be accessed online with login information (CAT User ID and password). Candidates must download the results and take a printout of the CAT scorecard for future use after viewing the results. The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other participating management institutes will produce a list of shortlisted candidates based on the CAT results as part of their selection process.

The candidate's name, rank, registration, picture, sectional score, overall score, sectional percentile, and overall percentile will all appear on the CAT 2021 scorecard.


CAT 2021 Answer Key
