GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test)

Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC.) conducts the Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) which is a computer-adaptive test. It is used to check the suitability of students aspiring to pursue MBA/ Management programs. GMAT is a test administered by the GMAC to candidates seeking admission to postgraduate management programmes at various B-schools around the world. The GMAT is a computer adaptive examination that is taken in order to undertake management studies in another country. Because of the pandemic, candidates can take the GMAT exam either in person or online. To complete GMAT Registration, candidates must first log in to mba.com. The GMAT exam pattern has four parts of MCQs: Verbal reasoning, Quantitative reasoning, Integrated reasoning, and Analytical Writing (optional). The GMAT takes 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete, except the theoretical writing portion. A $250 GMAT fee is required to take the exam (INR.18,366).

GMAT Score 

The GMAT score is based on a scale of 200 to 800 points. In 2019, the total GMAT score was 564.84 out of 800. Each segment of the GMAT is scored differently:

GMAT scores are good for five years, and top B-schools need a GMAT score of 700 or higher. Scores on the GMAT can be registered for up to ten years. The GMAT score reports include four scores: verbal, quantitative, integrated reasoning, and overall.
