IBSAT (ICFAI Business Studies Aptitude Test )

 

IBSAT 2023 Application Form is now available online. Exam schedules have been released. It will take place on December 24 and 25, 2022. Every year, the University of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) administers the ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test (IBSAT). Students' quantitative thinking, data sufficiency, data interpretation, analytical reasoning, vocabulary, and reading comprehension are all tested as part of this exercise. IBS Hyderabad, IBS Dehradun, IBS Jaipur, and IBS Bangalore all offer a two-year full-time MBA programme. IBS Hyderabad also offers a four-year Ph.D. programme, and there are five IBS campuses in Ahmedabad, Pune, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Gurgaon that offer a two-year full-time PGPM (Post-Graduate Program in Management). IBSAT 2023 Application Form:

 

Here are all the specifics and some key instructions for the IBSAT 2023 Application Form:

 

> Starting on July 1st, 2022, the application form for IBSAT 2023 was made available.

> Both online and offline methods are available for completing and submitting the IBSAT 2023 application form.

> Candidates have until December 16, 2022, to complete the online application.

> The information provided cannot be modified once the application form has been submitted.

> Every applicant must submit their application by the deadlines listed because incomplete applications will not be considered.

> For future reference, print out the confirmation page and the evidence of fee payment.

Application Fee IBSAT 2023:

 

> The IBSAT exam's application cost is Rs 1800.

> Payment methods include debit/credit cards and net banking.

> Candidates can pay directly through an IBS centre for offline transactions.




IBSAT Eligibility Criteria:

 

For candidates to be eligible to take the IBSAT in 2023, they must meet the following requirements:

 

Management Program eligibility criteria:

 

> There is no upper age limit to apply for the IBSAT in 2021. You must have graduated in any discipline with at least 50% of your class in the English language.

> All applicants must have finished at least 15 years of schooling, including a 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 course.

> Candidates who don't meet the requirements for graduation in English medium must submit their TOEFL, NELT, or IELTS score.

> If they will finish their graduation requirements prior to November 2020, candidates who are currently in their last year of a bachelor's degree can also apply.

> Candidates can take part in the IBSAT 2020 Selection Procedure if they have an NMAT, GMAT, or CAT Score.

> IBS Business School does not have a management or NRI quota for admissions.

 

PhD. Program in Management eligibility criteria:

 

> There is no upper age limit for applying to IBSAT graduate programmes in any discipline with at least 50% of the grade in English and at least 55% of the grade in Management with a concentration in Human Resource Management, Operations, Marketing, or Finance.

> Or a postgraduate degree with at least a 55 percent grade point average in one of the following fields: business, economics, sociology, public administration, psychology, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.

> Candidates who are offered admission are asked to pursue MBA courses in the first year as a requirement for participation in the PhD programme or professional certification such as CFA, CA, CWA, or CS with 55% aggregate marks or above.



Full-Time PhD. Program in Economics Eligibility Criteria

 

> For IBSAT Graduate with 50% and above marks & Post-Graduate with 55% and above marks in Economics or Related Discipline, there is no minimum or maximum age requirement.

> Candidates must have finished at least 17 years of formal education on a 10+2+3+2 or 10+2+4+2 level.

> Candidates must submit their TOEFL, NELT, or IELTS scores if they do not match the requirements for graduation or post-graduation in English.

 

 

IBSAT 2023 Exam Pattern:

 

In the section provided below, you may find information on the IBSAT exam pattern.

 

Medium:The only language used to answer the question is English.

Duration:The time required to finish the paper is 2 hours.

Mode of Examination:The exam will be administered via a home-based proctored test.

Type of Question: Each question will have five possible answers, and all questions will be multiple-choice.

Total Questions: The candidate will have to answer 120 questions in total.

Sections:The candidate will have to finish 5 separate sections.

Marking Scheme:A mark of one will be awarded to the candidate for each correct response.

IBSAT 2023 Syllabus:

 

The conducting body will determine the topics that will be covered in the IBSAT syllabus. Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation and Data Adequacy, Verbal Ability, and Analytical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension are the other four components of the examination paper.

IBSAT 2023 Admit Card:

 

The IBSAT admission card is made available when slots are reserved. Starting on November 3rd, 2022, slot reservations can be downloaded electronically. The third week of December 2023 will mark the final day to download the admission card. Candidates need a login ID and password in order to download the admission card.

When taking the exam, the candidates must have their admission card with them. The candidate's name, roll number, exam location, date, and time are all included in the admit card.

 

 

IBSAT 2023 Result:

 

The first week of January 2023 will see the release of the IBSAT Results. The outcome will be made available online. The results will be displayed on the screen after the candidates submit their roll number and birthdate.

For each candidate that took the test, there will be a total merit list and a merit list broken down by category. Following the outcome, candidates will be shortlisted for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds of the admissions procedure.

 

 

IBSAT Cut off 2023:

 

The IBSAT 2023 cut-off will be made public following the announcement of the results. Shortlisted candidates for the GD-PI who fulfil the IBSAT cut-off will then be offered admission in its entirety.

For admission to the eight IBSAT campuses in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Gurugram, Bangalore, Dehradun, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata, the cut-off will be made public.

 

IBSAT 2023 Selection Process:

 

Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements based on the IBSAT, GMAT, XAT, CAT, or NMAT will be chosen for the IBSAT 2023 selection procedure by GMAC. Candidates must go through group discussions and personal interviews as part of the admissions process (GD & PI). It will take place at IBS Hyderabad in February 2023.

The relevant authority will take into account candidates' past academic records, performance in PI and GD, and other factors when making a final admissions decision. Final applicants will be chosen based on their performance in the GD and PI as well as their past academic achievements.

 

IBSAT 2023 Counselling:

 

Counseling for the IBSAT 2023 will begin in the fourth week of February 2023. Every exam-qualified candidate will receive counselling from the authority via online means.

There will be a group discussion and individual interview with the shortlisted candidates. After passing these tests, candidates will be asked to choose their preferred courses and colleges. The IBSAT score, GD-PI performance, and seat availability will all be taken into consideration when filling the seats. Selected applicants are contacted and invited to the campus for additional admissions procedures.
