Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT)

Registration for the XAT 2023 test is currently open on the xatonline website. The test date for the XAT 2023 is January 8. After the XLRI Jamshedpur made the itinerary available to the public on August 8, registrations started on August 10. Registration for the XAT exam 2023 will end on November 30, 2022. The XAT exam for this year costs INR 2,000.

The XAT 2023 notification states that the exam design and structure have not altered, with the exception of the essay writing portion, which was brought back in XAT 2022. It was a section of the paper for the XAT 2022's Part 2. The essay writing score, however, was not used for determining the score and percentile. It was evaluated when applicants were chosen for the Personal Interview (PI) round. Whether XLRI will keep Essay Writing as a part of XAT 2023 or include it in the PI process will be revealed when the official sample test is available.
