BHMCT - Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology
Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology is a four-year undergraduate vocational program. It provides expert training to students for hospitality and new origination in serving technology. The colleges should be affiliated to the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT).
The course is observanted on grounding passionate students for the hospitality industry. The eligibility for the students should have completed their 10+2 from a recognized school.
The central aim is to make students confident with management techniques, processes, and systems used in hotel and hospitality businesses. The major areas of BHMCT are accounts, desktop, administration, front office, housekeeping, catering, maintenance, security, and catering. It is the second biggest employer beyond the country after the IT and software industry.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum Qualification Required: 10+2 from a recognized board / university
- Minimum Marks Required: 45% aggregate marks and 40% for reserved category candidates
- English as a subject is mandatory.
- Age Limit: The age limit is up to 22 years.
Admission Process:
Admission to the BHMCT course is provided on the basis of entrance exams.
- Candidates must emerge for the NCHMCT JEE or any other BHMCT entrance exam.
- The candidates who receive qualifying marks in the entrance exam are then called for central counselling conducted at the national or state level.
- Candidates are then called for counselling
- Colleges may also conduct Personal Interviews for the final selection of candidates.
- Some colleges also offer direct admission to candidates on the basis of Class 12th merit.
