NEET 2021 Eligibility Criteria


  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.
    • If the candidate does not live in India, he or she should be an Indian.
    • OCI (Overseas Citizen of India)
    • Non-Resident Indians(NRIs)
    • Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)
    • Foreign Nationals
  •  The minimum age limit shall be 17 years from 31 December of the year of admission or applicants belonging to all groups.
  • The maximum age limit is 25 years (30 for reserved category) as of December 31, of the year of admission.
  • Students must have passed the class 12 board exams or any equivalent exam from a recognized board with at least five mandatory subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and an elective subject.
    • In qualifying exams, candidates must have obtained the necessary aggregate marks:
    • General category – 50% marks in the qualifying examinations
    • SC/ST/OBC category – 40% marks in the qualifying examinations
    • Physically handicapped: General category – 45% marks in the qualifying examinations
    • Physically handicapped: SC/ST/OBC category – 40% marks in the qualifying examinations


NEET 2021 Application Process


  • Go to the official website.
  • Register by giving the name, mobile number, email id and other details.
  • Fill in the registration form.
  • Upload scanned copies of appropriate documents only in the size and format prescribed.

Image of the postcard size (4"X6") even with a white backdrop. The photograph must be similar to the size of the passport and taken after 1 September 2020. The candidate's name and date should be written below. In JPG/ JPEG format, 50 Kb to 300 Kb
On white paper, the signature should be in black ink. Applicants are expected to prevent capital letters 4 Kb to 30 Kb in the format JPG/ JPEG

  • The important step is the payment of the application fee, the fee payment can be done in online mode.

Dress Code For NEET 


NEET 2020 Dress code for males:


  • Wear simple and casual pants/shirts
  • Full-sleeves shirts are not allowed
  • Clothing does not include pockets, zips, large buttons, layers, etc.
  • Avoid layering your clothing
  • Kurtas and pyjamas should be avoided
  • Footwear should be simple. Boots, boots or other hidden/covered footwear are not allowed
  • You can opt for light slippers/sandals


NEET 2020 Dress code for females:


  • Wear half-sleeved Kurtis/shirts
  • Long and fancy sleeves of any style are not permitted.
  • Keep it simple. Avoid embroidery, frills, layering with different pieces
  • Avoid all jewellery both metallic and non-metallic
  • In the exam hall, fancy footwear is not allowed. Stop boots, heels, shoes, stilettos,
  • Opt for slippers or open sandals
