Eligibility Criteria for DIET Delhi D.El.Ed.:

  • Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements set out by the SCERT authorities. Examine the following requirements for each of the courses mentioned below:
  • Candidates must be 24 years of age or younger, with 05-year age relaxation for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
  • Candidates must be in good health and free of any contagious diseases or defects. Physical fitness is important. Aspirants must present a medical certificate from a licensed MBBS or equivalent recognized degree doctor to prove their eligibility.

 

Educational Qualification –

  • Candidates are interested in pursuing a DPSE / D.El.Ed. The course must have passed the CBSE Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) or an exam equivalent from another recognized board/university.
  • They must have earned 50% or higher in a 10+2 or equivalent exam (45% in the case of SC, ST, or PwD).
  • For the purpose of calculating the marks obtained in the CBSE 10+2 test, the best five subjects, including at least one language, will be considered.
  • Similarly, there is an average number of marks in the best five subjects, plus at least one language, in which she is required to complete the Sr. Sec. Sec. Examination (10+2) or the equivalent for other boards/universities.

Reservation Provision

Seat reservations will be made for the following categories:

  • Candidates who passed class 12th from a school or study center in Delhi's National Capital Region will be given 85 percent of the seats.
  • Candidates who completed their 12th grade in a school or study center outside of Delhi's National Capital Region will be given 15% of the seats.

Documents required for DIET Delhi D.El.Ed.:

The selection of candidates will remain provisional until the original documents have been submitted by the candidates at the time of admission. The list of original documents to be submitted is as follows:

  • Initial High School Assessment (Class X) certificate or its equivalent examination.
  • Mark's sheets for Sr. Review in Secondary and Secondary Schools or the related exams
  • Certificate of a reserved category/sub-category from a competent authority, if applicable.
  • A candidate seeking NIOS or any other distance mode admission must have a certificate indicating that the candidate has attended/studied/passed Sr. Along with other records from the secondary research center concerned.
  • Certificate of medical fitness by a licensed MBBS / BAMS physician.

 

Delhi DIET 2021 Selection Process

Applicants who complete the Delhi DIET 2021 application form will be considered first in the general merit list, regardless of which category they choose. If an applicant qualifies for a reserved category but does not appear on the general merit list, he or she will be considered in the reserved category in which he or she qualifies in order of merit. It is also stated that any category admitted on the basis of general merit will not be counted in the reserved category.

To be considered for selection, applicants must achieve the required minimum score in order for their names to appear on the merit list. The marks obtained by applicants in their qualifying examinations, i.e. 10th and 12th, will be taken into account. As a result, applicants who meet the eligibility requirements at the time of application will be considered for admission and will be called for counseling in the order of merit.
