- General Category: 50%

- SC/ST: 40%
- PWBD: Cutoffs of the respective category
AIIMS MBBS Selection Process 2021
The NEET-UG 2021 counseling process will be used to determine the AIIMS MBBS selection process in 2021. The National Testing Agency, the NEET-UG 2021 conducting body, will issue a cut-off list once the NEET-UG results are published. Candidates who meet the NEET-UG 2021 cut-off will be able to participate in the NEET-UG 2021 counseling phase.
Counselling Process
Candidates must meet the cut-off requirements for NEET-UG 2021 in order to participate in the NEET-UG counseling process, as stated above. Under NEET-UG 2021, qualified candidates will be eligible for AIQ or All India Quota Counseling. Candidates will be chosen solely on the basis of their results on the NEET-UG 2021 examination. For the AIQ counseling process, all candidates must register with the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on their official website. Once you've completed the registration for UG counseling, you'll be able to start the procedure. Candidates will be required to fill in their college and course preferences.
Candidates should choose a college based on their priorities and preferences. Check out the process described in the connection provided above to adjust a college's priority. Candidates are also eligible for state-specific counseling, in which colleges in a given state assign 85 percent of seats to domicile students and 15% of seats to AIQ students. Both students are eligible to apply for both or either of the groups, depending on their preference. With the elimination of university-level and state-level medical admission tests for UG medical courses such as MBBS and BDS, applicants for MBBS seats in India are expected to face increased competition. According to reports, more than 21 applicants will compete for one MBBS seat in the country this year. The addition of AIIMS and JIPMER colleges under NEET-UG 2021, on the other hand, raises the total number of MBBS seats in India, while both the state and central governments are working to increase the overall number of MBBS seats in India.
