BITSAT 2021

 

BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test)

BITSAT is a national examination carried out by BITS Pilani for admission to Integrated First Degree programs offered at the Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses of BITS. The BITSAT 2021 exam, which was supposed to be held from June 24 to 30, has been postponed, and a new date will be announced soon. The entrance exam for BITS will be held in July/August. After reviewing the Covid-19 second wave status in June, the exam date will be finalised. BITS Pilani administers the BITSAT test for undergraduate engineering admissions to the Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses. Every year, over 3 lakh students enrol for this admission exam, which is conducted online. Pilani's Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) is a deemed university that provides courses in engineering, science, technology, pharmacy, management, and humanities. These on-campus degree programmes are available at BITS Pilani's Pilani Campus, Goa Campus, and Hyderabad Campus.

BITSAT 2020: Application process

The application process for BITSAT 2021 will starts in December and the last date for registration will be in March. One can only apply online for BITSAT 2021

Enter your personal and educational details to generate an application number.

Upload recent photograph and signature in good quality. The size of the image should be between 4 kb to 50 Kb (for photograph) and 1 kb to 30 kb (for signature)

The application fee for BITSAT 2021 is different for male, female candidates and NRI candidates. The online application fee can be paid via credit card/debit card or net banking while the offline payment can be made via bank challan.

BITSAT 2021: Syllabus

Candidates should carefully go through their class XI and XII syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Some important topics are given below :

  1. Physics:  (Mechanical Properties, Current Electricity, Dual Nature of Matter & Radiation, Magnetism & Moving Charges, Rigid Body Dynamics, Gravitation, Kinematics, Work, Energy and Power)
  2. Chemistry: (P-Block Elements, Hydrogen and the s-Block Element, Coordination Compounds, Thermodynamics and Thermochemistry, States of Matter, Haloalkanes and Haloarenes, Alkenes and Alkynes, Chemical Bonding)
  3. English: (Grammar, Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, Composition)
  4. Logical Reasoning: (Analogy, Classification, Logical Deduction, Series completion, Pattern perception, paper cutting, Rule detection, Figure matrix)
  5. Mathematics: (Complex no., Quadratic equation, Matrices & Determinants, Trigonometry, Probability, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, Differential Equation)

BITSAT: Results

BITSAT 2020 Results are generally announced in 2 parts i.e. scorecard and admission list. Candidates can check their BITSAT Score just after completing their exam. The screen displays the result in the form of total correct answers and wrong answers with the scores. Admit list and waitlist is released in the month of June.

BITSAT Answer Keys: Some coaching institutes release the answers keys for BITSAT. Once the answer key for BITSAT 2020 is out, candidates can match your answers.

 

BITSAT 2020: Cut Off

BITSAT 2020 cut off must be scored by candidates to participate in admission rounds. The cut off scores varies for different campuses of BITS.
