Common-Law Admission Test (CLAT)

The Common Law Admission Examination (CLAT) is a national entry test given at 22 NLUs and other NLUs for admissions to candidates in undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law courses. colleges/ universities accepting exam scores. The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 is being organised by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). It was founded on August 19, 2017, with the goal of providing high-quality legal education in India. The Consortium aids in the improvement of legal education standards by establishing improved relationships between 22 NLUs in India. Professor V.Vijayakumar, VC, NLIU, is the current President of the Consortium of NLUs. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in the country, CLAT 2021 has been postponed indefinitely. The exam was due to take place on June 13, but it has been postponed until a new date is set. CLAT registration for 2021 has also been extended until June 15, 2021. Due to difficulties faced by students as a result of bank closures and lockdowns, the deadline was previously extended until May 15. CLAT 2021 will be conducted in an offline basis. If the exam is postponed, however, it is possible that it will be conducted online. On January 1, 2021, the CLAT 2021 application form was made available online, and candidates can apply through the official website.

The question paper of CLAT 2021 will comprise a total of 150 questions and the section-wise allotment is as under:

Syllabus for CLAT

Subjects - The English language, Quantitative Methods, Current Affairs like Common Knowledge, Legal Reasoning and Logical Reasoning would be the basis of the question paper.

CLAT 2021 Admit Card

The National Law University issues CLAT admit cards to applicants who have successfully enrolled for the entrance exam two weeks prior to the exam. The admit card also includes a self-declaration medical form, which candidates must complete and bring with them on the day of the exam. Candidates must first enter their Registered ID and Password before downloading and printing the CLAT 2021 admit card.

CLAT 2021 Answer Key

After CLAT UG and PG, the provisional answer key for CLAT 2021 will be released. A few days later, the final answer key will be generated. CLAT 2021 solution key is provided in an online format for applicants who took the entrance exam. Candidates must log in using their Registration Number, Password, or Date of Birth to get the CLAT 2021 provisional or final answer key from the CLAT official website.

CLAT Results 2021
