( Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test )

The GPAT 2025 exam is expected to be held in April 2025. It is a nationwide entrance test for M.Pharma programs. Previously, the exam was administered by NTA, however it will now be held by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) beginning in 2024.

 

The GPAT exam is administered online. Interested candidates must apply individually to the designated GPAT 2025 Participating Institutions, citing their GPAT Score 2025. GPAT 2025 registration will start in the second week of February 2025.

GPAT 2025 Application Form

 

• The GPAT 2025 Application Form will be posted online. There will be no other options for submitting the form.

• The registration process will run from the second week of February until the first week of March 2025.

• When filling out the application form, make sure to upload a passport-sized photograph and a signature in the prescribed manner.

• One must ensure that all eligibility requirements are met because the form will only be approved from eligible individuals.

• The Authority will also give a correction service for a limited time period to correct errors in the application form.

• All communication data will be sent to the candidate's registered number and ID, so make sure to include a working email address and phone number.

• Multiple application forms will not be approved, so don't submit more than one.

• Incomplete information in the form will not be accepted, so please include all required and requested information.

• Finally, students should remember to print out their completed forms for future reference.

Application Fee:

 

• The application fee will be paid online.

• Fees will be paid via credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI.

• General (UR)/Male candidates must pay Rs. 2200.

• The registration fee for women, SC, ST, and OBC-NCL would be Rs. 1100/-.

• In any case, the application fee will be nonrefundable.

 

How to Apply for GPAT 2025

 

• Browse the website (a link will be supplied above).

• On the home page, click "GPAT 2024 Registration".

• Enter basic information such the candidate's name, date of birth, and qualification details.

• To obtain an OTP, enter your contact information, such as an email address and a phone number.

• Log in with your application number and password.

• Continue to fill out the form with the remaining requested and required information.

• Upload a passport-sized photograph and signature in the proper format.

• Recheck the form's exact details.

• After validating all provided information, submit your application fee in accordance with category/gender.

• After the fee has been duly submitted, print the confirmation page for future reference.

 

GPAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

 

• Nationality: Candidates who are Indian citizens can apply for the GPAT 2025.

• Qualification: Applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (4 years following 10+2, including lateral entry students) or its equivalent from a recognized university.

• Age Limit: There will be no age limit for applicants taking the GPAT 2025.

• Appearing: Candidates in their last year of Bachelor's Degree B.Pharmacy (10+2+4) are also eligible to apply.

 

GPAT 2025 Exam Pattern

 

• Exam Mode: The GPAT examination will be conducted online.

• Number of Questions: The exam will have a total of 125 questions.

• Duration: Candidates will have three hours to solve the paper.

• Medium: The paper will be in English only.

• Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will receive +4 marks, while each incorrect response will receive -1 mark.

GPAT 2025 Syllabus

 

• Physical Chemistry: Physical Chemistry includes the composition and physical properties of matter, thermodynamics, refractive index, colligative properties, solutions, electrochemistry, ionic equilibrium, kinetics, and others.

• Pharmacology: Pharmacology includes general pharmacology, medications that affect the urinary system, neurohumoral transmission in the autonomic and central nervous systems, central nervous system pharmacology, chemotherapy, autacoids and their antagonists, immunopharmacology, vitamins and minerals, and toxicology principles.

• Pharmaceutics: Pharmacy profession and introductions to pharmaceuticals, introduction to dosage forms, drug information sources, allopathic dosage forms, crude extracts, allergenic products, powders, capsules, tablets, emulsions, GMP and validation, and so on.

• Take mock tests and examine your skills.

• Practice with example question papers and previous year papers.

• Create small notes on a regular basis.

GPAT 2025 Admit Card

 

The GPAT 2025 admit card will be made available online. The NTA authority will publish hall tickets in the last week of March 2025. To download the admission card, candidates must first enter their login details. Candidates must bring their admit cards and one form of identification to the examination hall.

 

The hall ticket will include the candidate's name, roll number, date of birth, exam date, time and venue, and exam instructions. Students are recommended to read the instructions attentively and follow them during the exam. Students must inform officials during business hours if they see any anomalies on their admit cards.

 

GPAT 2025 Answer Key

 

The NTA will post the GPAT 2025 Answer Key online. No candidate will receive it by mail or any other offline means. The Authority will initially publish a provisional answer key in the third week of April 2024. Students will be given the chance to contest the answer key (if any) by depositing Rs. 200/- each question.

 

The provisional answer key will be displayed for two to three days. Following that, the final answer key will be released. Even before the results are announced, students can use the answer key to estimate their scores. Students must be aware that future results will be created based on the final answer key.

 

GPAT 2025 Reservation Criteria

 

The GPAT reservation requirements from the previous year will be as follows:

GPAT 2025 Result

 

The GPAT 2025 results will be available online. It will be launched during the last week of April 2025. To view the results, candidates must provide their login credentials, such as their application number and password. No re-checking, re-evaluation, or re-totaling will be permitted.

 

The result will include all facts such as the candidate's name, roll number, date of birth, marks received, and qualifying status. Furthermore, all qualified candidates must engage in the counselling procedure.

 

GPAT 2025 Counselling

 

The various institutes will begin GPAT 2025 counselling individually. Qualifying candidates must attend a counselling session. Students will need to apply separately to their desired colleges. 800 institutes admit students to Pharmacy programs based on their GPAT scores.
