Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test: Now for Level 1 of the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Exam, B.Ed. qualified candidates will also be eligible to take part in the examination. Those applicants would have to apply online for an evaluation on the REET website between 9 and 20 February.

The Chief Organizer of the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test and the Chairman of the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Dr. DP Jaroli, said that it had been informed by the Board that some people had passed B.Ed. and DLEd. By spreading the confusion among the merit holders, they are collecting the funding that only certain candidates will be eligible to sit at level 1 of the examination, which will be permitted by the High Court. Such people are making an unjust recovery from the candidates in the name of securing permission from the High Court to sit on the REET examination.
The fact is that for REET Level-1, all of B.Ed. a s well as the holders of the DLED qualifications are allowed to apply. The application process will begin on Tuesday and will run until 20 February. He instructed the candidates that the information available on the REET website concerning the test should be considered authoritative and should not be dependent on rumors.
The exam will be held in two shifts on 25 April
The REET examination will take place in two shifts on Sunday, April 25. Exams for Level II classes 6 to 8 will take place in the first innings from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The second shift time will be from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., and the level 1 to 5 exams will take place. The fee for the REET I or Level II exam was set at Rs 500 only. Although, the fee for Level I and II exams, has been set at Rs. 750. Applicants can, in accordance with their eligibility, pay the examination fee via the prescribed banks from Challan, Debit Card, Net Banking, e-Mitra.
Recent changes by RBSE:
Previously, the state government declared that 31,000 teachers will be recruited via REET. But, the vacancies have now been raised to 32,000, reports said.
The State Education Board has raised one thousand new teachers' positions in its 282 government schools.

REET Eligibility and Qualification for Level 1(Class 1 to 5): The candidate must have passed class XII with at least 50 per cent marks for Class 5 Teachers. Aspirants who have completed their graduation or in their final years can also apply.
REET Eligibility and Qualification for Level 2 (Class 6 to 8): Candidates mist have qualified Diploma in the second year in graduate or elementary education or completed the final year of the course.
Candidates should have passed Graduation with at least 50 percent and passed in the first year of B.Ed. or appearing in the second year of B.Ed.
