AIHMCT WAT 2026

 

AIHMCT The Army Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (AIHMCT) administers the WAT, an online admission test (formerly known as the Written Admission Test), to candidates wishing to be admitted to its Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) program. However, since the exam is no longer administered in writing, WAT is now known as OAT. The test is now administered online. OAT lasts for three hours. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has authorized AIHMCT, which is associated with Bangalore University.The institute is accredited by the NAAC. AIHMCT WAT Application Process 2026

 

The application form for AIHMCT WAT 2026 will be made available on the official website. The AIHMCT WAT application form can only be completed online by candidates. To complete the application, they must go to the website and click the Register button. After that, students must upload all of their information, including their academic credentials, test center preference, photo, and signature. Ultimately, in order to successfully submit the form, candidates must pay the application cost online.

AIHMCT WAT Eligibility Criteria 2026

 

In any academic field where English is a required subject, the candidate must have passed the 10+2 exam or its equivalent. Applicants may also submit a provisional application, but they must provide documentation of their passing the qualifying exam at the time of admission. As of July 1, 2026, the candidate should not be older than 22. The birthdate listed on the certificate of matriculation or an equivalent test will be accepted as evidence.

AIHMCT WAT 2026 Exam Pattern

 

Three hours will be allotted for the AIHMCT admissions online admission test. On the day of the AIHMCT OAT exam, candidates must arrive at the designated testing location. Candidates are required to arrive at their AIHMCT WAT exam location at least half an hour prior to the admission exam's start time, which is 9:30 am. The AIHMCT OAT 2026 question paper is divided into five sections with multiple-choice questions that assess the following:

AIHMCT WAT 2026 Result

 

At least fifteen days following the test, the AIHMCT OAT results will be posted on the official website. AIHMCT Bangalore admits BHM students only on the basis of merit, which is determined by the total number of points earned in the Online Admission Test (OAT). Candidates with equal scores will have their respective merits reevaluated, with preference given to those with higher aggregate scores in the qualifying test, such as 10+2 or its equivalent. Class 10th marks will be used to reevaluate the merit if 10+2 or its equivalent marks have not been obtained.

 

 

AIHMCT WAT 2026 Counselling

 

After performing well on the written admission tests, candidates are invited to AIHMCT Bangalore for a counseling round. Candidates must then show up for a round of in-person interviews after being selected for admission based on their performance on the written admission exam. The Army Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology's final merit list for admission to its BHM program is created based on an applicant's performance in the AIHMCT WAT and in-person interview.

The Army Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology offers admission to a Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) program to the top 60 students on the merit list.

Candidates will be contacted for counseling at AIHM&CT, Bangalore, based on their performance on the OAT. The performance in the OAT and subsequent in-person interview will determine the ultimate choice. Admission will be granted to the first 60 applicants on the merit list.
