GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test)
The CBT for the GATE test 2023 will be held at IIT Kanpur on February 4, 5, 11, and 12. There will be 29 papers. The official GATE website, gate.iitk.ac.in 2023, has information on the 2023 GATE test date. From November 8 to November 14, the GATE 2023 application form correction window will be available. On July 27, IIT Kanpur officially announced the GATE 2023 competition. Admit cards for the IIT Kanpur GATE 2023 examination will be given to those who submit their applications before the deadline. Registration for GATE 2023 was open till October 16. Candidates will be eligible for admission to M.Tech programmes offered by IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and STIs if they meet the cutoff marks.

- From November 8 through November 14, the ability to update the GATE 2023 application form will be available.
- The final day to register with late fines is now October 16, 2022, whereas the final day to register without late fees was October 14.
- The GATE 2023 exam registration deadline has been extended till October 7.

Along with the IIT Kanpur GATE notice, the qualifying requirements were released. To apply for the exam, candidates must meet the GATE qualifying standards.
- Nationality: Indian citizens are required for the position. Candidates from Singapore, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Nepal, and Sri Lanka are also welcome to apply.
- Age - There is no age limit for appearing in the GATE exam 2023.
- Academic Requirements: Candidates should hold a postgraduate (M.Sc.) degree in any pertinent field or have finished or be enrolled in their pre-final/final year of a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology (B.E./B.Tech).
On August 30, IIT Kanpur made the GATE 2023 application form available. The GATE test 2023 registration site has just been made available online. To register for the GATE test, candidates must fulfil the procedures listed below:
- IIT Kanpur GATE 2023 first registration Candidates must first register through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2023 registration link on the GATE online application processing system (GOAPS) by providing information such as their first, middle, and last names, a valid email address, their country of residence, their mobile number, and a password. Candidates must input the OTP obtained on their registered email address and cellphone number after entering their information. Candidates who successfully register will receive a special enrolment ID.
- Filling out the GATE application form for 2023 - After registering, candidates must fill out the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2023 application form with information such as their personal information, academic information, communication information, the paper they plan to take, exam centre information, a photo ID proof, their signature, and a certificate of their category (for reserved categories).
- Papers that must be uploaded must be scanned copies of the required documents, including the required photo and signature.
- Payment of the application money - Following that, candidates must pay the GATE application fee online.

GATE 2023: Syllabus
The GATE Exam 2023 covers 29 subjects or fields. Any of the disciplines listed below are open to candidates.
The GATE 2023 practise exam will be made available on the official website of IIT Kanpur. Candidates will learn about the GATE exam pattern 2023 through the GATE mock examination. Candidates should complete the GATE sample test 2023 in order to receive high marks because it is based on the format of the real exam. For each of the papers they conduct, the authorities offer a different mock exam.
The official notice and the list of GATE test locations are both available at gate.iitk.ac.in from IIT Kanpur. At the time of completing the application forms, candidates must select the cities for the GATE 2023 test. The number of exam cities for the year 2023 has been decreased by the authorities. On January 3, IIT Kanpur will publish the GATE admission card online at the official website. GATE hall tickets will be provided by the authorities to applicants who successfully register for the GATE test 2023 before the deadline. A valid picture ID and the GATE admit card 2023 must be carried by candidates taking the test for identification purposes.
How to download the GATE admit card?

GATE answer keys will be made available by IIT Kanpur online at the official website. Candidates will have a limited time to contest the GATE 2023 answer key after the preliminary answer key has been made public. The authorities will issue the final GATE answer key after taking into account all the difficulties. The final answer key will be used by IIT Kanpur to compile the GATE 2023 results.
The GATE test results will be released online by the authorities. To obtain the GATE result 2023, candidates must log in using their enrollment ID/email and password. How to check GATE 2023 result?
- Visit the GOAPS portal and log in.
- To login, enter the GATE enrollment ID or email address and password.
- Click on the ‘result’ tab.
- GATE 2023 result shall appear on the screen.
- Candidates may check details and save the GATE result for future reference.
Once the GATE results are announced, IIT Kanpur will make the GATE 2023 score cards available to qualifying applicants. On the GOAPS portal, the GATE scorecard will be accessible online. To get their GATE scorecard, candidates must provide their enrolment ID and password. The GATE 2023 scorecard would provide information on applicants' performance, score, all-India ranking, qualifying marks, total number of candidates who applied, and more.
The GATE 2023 qualifying cutoff for each paper will be made public by the organisation in charge of the test. The minimal score needed to pass the exam is the GATE cutoff score for 2023. The GATE cutoff scores for each participating institute in GATE 2023 will be released by the organisation in charge of administering counselling. All 29 topic papers' GATE 2023 qualifying cutoff scores will vary from one another.
For GATE 2023, there won't be any common counselling. Each applicant must submit a separate application for admission to the desired institutions. However, the Common Offer Acceptance Portal will be used for GATE 2023 counselling and IIT admissions (COAP). Similar to this, Centralized Counselling for M.Tech. (CCMT) is held for admissions into NITs, IIEST Shibpur, IIITs, and GFTIs. For counselling reasons, GATE COAP and CCMT portals must be used.
