GATE

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is known as GATE.

In order to gain admission to M.Tech and research programs at prestigious universities like IITs, IIITs, NITs, and IISc, a national entrance exam is held in India.

IISc and seven IITs (Bombay, Madras, Roorkee, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, and Delhi) alternately administer the test.

The GATE 2026 exam is being administered by IIT Guwahati this year.

The GATE 2026 test for 30 subject examinations will be administered by IIT Guwahati this year. More than 200 cities in eight zones will host the exam. To avoid any revisions, candidates taking the entrance exam must review the GATE dates. In order to provide MTech and research admissions in prestigious universities such as IITs, IIITs, and NITs, the GATE is an annual national entrance exam.
