LPUNEST 2026 Important Information

 

• The following choices are offered by LPU to administer the LPUNEST Exam for the above-mentioned schedule. To take the test, students can choose the option that best suits them:

• Online remotely proctored LPUNEST exam from home, test center-based

• The invigilators and a variety of artificial intelligence tools will be used to monitor the remotely proctored exam in real time.

• The date on which the results of the offline exam are announced may differ from the one shown above. Test results will be sent to candidates directly through their portal.

• Only if tickets are still available will Round I (as previously stated) be followed by further rounds.

• Following the aforementioned rounds, seats that remain unfilled will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, provided that candidates meet the eligibility requirements outlined in Prospectus-2026.

• In order to minimise last-minute rush, applicants are highly encouraged to apply, book, and present for the exam as soon as possible rather than waiting for the previously stated deadlines.

• This is a provisional timetable; the University has the right to alter any of the dates and other information listed above.

• No applicant or applicants will receive a separate notification or announcement.

• In the event that seats are still available, subsequent admissions phases will be held.

LPUNEST 2026 Application Process

 

Both online and offline applications are accepted from candidates who are qualified to complete the application. Candidates should visit admissions.ipu.in to finish the application procedure and submit the application form online. Candidates who wish to apply offline, however, must go to the university's campus and pay the required amount to pick up the LPUNEST kit.

 

 

LPUNEST 2026 Eligibility Criteria

 

In order to be admitted to Lovely Professional University's BTech programs, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

 

Nationality

 

Applications for LPUNEST (B.Tech) are only accepted from Indian nationals.

 

Qualifying Examination

 

Candidates for LPUNEST (BTech) must have passed the Central Board of Secondary Education's (CBSE, New Delhi), the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination's (CISCE, New Delhi), the State Board, or any other Council, institution, college, etc. final 10+2 exam, or be scheduled to take it in 2026. The Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi, or any other relevant top authority, must recognise the board.

 

Eligibility Criteria in the Qualifying Examination:

 

• In order to qualify for LPUNEST (B.Tech.), candidates must have earned 60%* aggregate marks in 10+2 or its equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics, and English).

• Regarding passing scores in the qualifying exams, applicants from North-East states and Sikkim, as well as defence personnel and their dependents and wards of Kashmiri migrants, are granted a 5% relaxation.

• As far as passing grades in the qualifying tests are concerned, there is a 10% relaxation for exceptional athletes (i.e., A/A+ category according to Sports Scholarship), subject to confirmation by the university's selection committee. Head (DSW), Director Sports, Deputy Director Sports, Concerned Coach, and VC Nominee must be on the selection committee.

Following the completion of the slot booking procedure for the exam schedule of their choice, the LPU NEST 2026 admit card will be made available online. By entering their registration number and birthdate, candidates can access their admission card on the official LPU NEST website (nest.lpu.in) and download it.

• Open your account and log in: To log in, enter your password and registered email address, application number, or cellphone number.

• Full slot reservation: Choose and reserve your exam time slot and date based on your convenience, if you haven't already.

• Click here to download the admission card: The connection to the admission card will be activated following a successful slot reservation.

• Get the admission card here: Verify your information, including your name, roll number, exam location, date, and time, by clicking the link to your admit card.

• Print the admission card. The admit card should be downloaded and printed on at least two A4-sized sheets of paper.
