TISSNET (Tata Institute of Social Science National Entrance Test) examination is organized by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. It is a national-level exam that is conducted online for admission to various postgraduate courses. In 1936, the Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work became the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). The institute was given its present name in 1944. TISSNET is a National Entrance Test (NET) organised by Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) for admission to all Master's programmes offered at TISS campuses in Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati, IMHST Chennai, MHAT Calicut, and G-SET Ranchi. TISS aims to provide students with education by bringing together top scholars and practitioners from various fields such as Social, Economic, Political, Physical, Habitat, Engineering, Health, and Environmental Sciences.

TISSNET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

 

The following qualifications must be met in order to be eligible to sit for the Tata Institute of Social Science's TISSNET admission exam:

 

  1. The candidate must possess a graduate or bachelor's degree from an accredited university or board.
  2. Candidates may also apply for the TISSNET even if they are in their final year of undergraduate study.
  3. When requesting a registration form, candidates for the TISSNET must already have completed all four semesters.
  4. The original certificate and grade sheet must be presented by the shortlisted candidates at the interview.
  5. Although there is no set age restriction for taking the TISSNET admission exam, applicants must be at least 21 years old.

Step 2: A new screen will appear with the TISSNET registration page. If you are a first-time applicant for the TISSNET 2023 entrance exam, click on the "new application portal" and finish the application process.

Step 3: To complete the application form, applicants must log in using their registered email address and password for TISSNET 2023.
