The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national entrance exam for admission to Indian undergraduate (UG) and graduate (PG) law institutions. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) administers the CLAT exam once a year. The CLAT 2025 will held on December 1. On its official website the date was announced. Between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m., the offline CLAT entrance exam 2025 will be held. The CLAT Admit Card 2025 was released for the students on December 15, 2024. The CLAT 2025 Application Process ended on October 25, 2024. Clat official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in, offers CLAT Hall Tickets 2025 for download.

How to Apply for CLAT 2025:

 

 

 



CLAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

 

For UG Programme:

 

Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have passed the class 12 level from a recognized board or university in order to apply.

 

Minimum Marks: Candidates must have obtained 45% overall in the qualifying exam (45% for SC/ST candidates) in order to be eligible for the exam.

 

Age Restrictions: There is no maximum age for applicants to UG law programs.

 

Appearing: Candidates who are currently enrolled in class 12 are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

 

For PG Programme:

 

Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have passed the LLB or 5-year integrated LLB exam, or its equivalent, from a recognized institute or university to be eligible for PG courses.

 

Age Restrictions: There is no upper age limit for applicants.

 

Minimum Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates for the general category and reserved category (SC/ST) must have received 50% and 45% of the possible points, respectively.



CLAT 2025 Exam Pattern:

 

Exam Mode: The test will be given offline, with paper and pen.

Types of Questions: Subjective and multiple-choice (MCQ) questions will both be included in The Exam.

Sections: There will be five sections in all on the UG course test paper.

Duration: Applicants will have two hours to do the assignment.

Medium: The exam will only be administered in English.

Number of Questions: The UG and PG exams will consist of 120 questions in total.

Marking System: Each correct response will earn one mark.

Negative Marking: 0.25 points will be deducted for each incorrect response.

CLAT 2025 Admit Card:

 

The CLAT admission card 2025 will be accessible online at the website. Starting in November 2024, the admission card will be available online.

 

The admit card for the same exam will have the following information: name, parents' names, other identifying information, a photo, a signature, the exam date, time, reporting time, and other instructions for the exam day. Candidates are required to bring a physical copy of their admit card on exam day.

CLAT 2025 Answer Key:

 

A few hours after the test is given, the Consortium of NLUs will provide the CLAT answer key to the public. The official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in, will offer the CLAT 2025 answer key for download. Following the release of the CLAT preliminary answer key 2025, the Consortium will produce the CLAT final answer key. The exam authority will ask applicants to lodge objections if they detect discrepancies between the question paper and the CLAT answer key.

CLAT 2025 Result:

 

The CLAT 2025 Result Date has not yet been disclosed by the Consortium of NLUs. Nonetheless, a month following the test, the Consortium is anticipated to release the CLAT 2025 Results. Candidates should be aware that the final answer key will be used to calculate the CLAT results for 2025. After considering candidates' complaints, the final answer key is made public. The CLAT results, which include each test-taker's qualifying status, will be accessible on the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in. By logging in, candidates will also be able to download the scorecard.

 

How to download CLAT Result 2025?

CLAT 2025 Cut Off:

 

Following each counseling session, the Consortium of NLUs will publish the CLAT 2025 Cutoff scores for each participating National Law University. Following each counseling cycle, the Consortium of NLUs will publish the CLAT cutoff scores for each participating National Law University.

 

Please take note that the CLAT 2025 Cutoffs for Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) courses will be announced separately. Additionally, CLAT Cutoff 2025 Marks for each of the following categories will be made public: Open, PwD, SC, ST, and OBC. The CLAT cutoff is the lowest score or rank for which a candidate is offered admission; as a result, candidates who score lower than the cutoff would likely not be admitted to their desired law schools.

CLAT 2025 Counselling:

 

Beginning the final week of December 2024, the Consortium of NLUs will host CLAT counseling 2025. Examinees who made the short list will be permitted to attend the counseling process. During the counseling process, candidates will need to specify online which NLU they would like to attend using a centralized counseling system.

 

For both undergraduate and graduate programs, it will be held independently. The counseling process will consist of several rounds. The seat allocation for each participating NLU will be made public following each counseling session.
