NCHMCT JEE

 

A national level hospitality entrance exam for admission to BSc (Hospitality & Hotel Administration), the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam (NCHMCT JEE) is administered annually by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT). NCHMCT offers a three-year BSc (HHA) program in partnership with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), and all participating institutes accept the NCHM JEE score for admission to the BSc (HHA) courses offered by their respective institutions.

 

The Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs) use the NCHMCT JEE results to determine admission. About twenty-one central IHMs, twenty-five state IHMs, one PSU IHM, and twenty-seven private IHMs are associated with NCHMCT. They provide BSc (HHA) degrees, and admission is determined by NCHMCT JEE.

 

There will be two languages available for the NCHMCT JEE 2026 question paper: Hindi and English. The exam will be 180 minutes in total, and all of the questions will be multiple-choice. The 200 questions are organised according to the following categories: English language proficiency, general knowledge and current affairs, reasoning and logical deduction, numerical ability and analytical aptitude, and aptitude for the service sector.

NCHMCT JEE 2026 Application Form

 

It is anticipated that the NCHMCT JEE 2026 registration procedure will open in December 2025. The official announcement will be released along with the NCHMCT JEE 2026 Application Dates. NCHMCT JEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

 

Candidates must fulfil the NCHMCT JEE 2026 eligibility requirements in order to complete the registration process. View the following eligibility requirements for the NHCMCT JEE:

 

Age restriction: Candidates must be older than a certain age. The age restriction varies by category; see below:

 

• Candidates born on or after July 1, 1998, are eligible, with the upper age limit for the General, General (EWS), and OBC categories being 25 years as of July 1, 2025.

• Candidates who are SC, ST, or physically challenged and who are 25 years of age or older as of July 1, 2025—that is, those who were born on or after July 1, 1996—are eligible.

 

Qualification: Candidates do not need to receive a minimum score on their qualifying exam. However, they must meet the requirements listed below:

 

• must be enrolled in or have passed 10+2.

• English ought to be a required course.

 

List of prerequisite tests: The following is a list of qualifying exams:

 

• Central/State Boards, like State Boards of Secondary Education or the Central Board of Secondary Education and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination.

• a two-year or intermediate pre-university exam administered by an accredited university.

• Advanced (A) level General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London, Cambridge, Sri Lanka).

• Cambridge University High School Certificate Examination

NCHMCT JEE 2026 Admission

 

The following is the NCHMCT JEE admissions procedure:

 

Step 1: Complete the NCHMCT JEE 2026 application form.

 

NCHMCT JEE 2026 application forms were filled out exclusively online by NTA. Candidates could only complete the form online and verify their eligibility. The steps listed below were part of the application form filling process:

Step 2: Get the admission card.

The admission card was available for download on the official website. The NCHMCT JEE admission card was only given to registered candidates.

 

Step 3: Show up for the test

Candidates were required to show up for the NCHMCT JEE 2026 CBT at the time and date specified on their admit card.

 

Step 4: Response Sheet, Question Papers, and Answer Key

The NCHMCT JEE answer keys will be made available by NTA. All of the test's questions will have their right answers in the answer key. Before the results are released, candidates can determine their likely score using the test's marking scheme. This won't be considered a final score, though.

 

The NCHMCT JEE 2026 exam papers will be made available along with the answer key. All of the questions that were asked on test day will be included in the question papers.

 

Step 5: Examine the outcome

NTA is expected to release the NCHMCT JEE 2026 results by the second week of May (tentative). However, the response sheet and question papers will also be posted on the official website prior to the answer key. A scorecard will be made available as the outcome.

 

Step 6: Guidance

Admissions counselling for NCHMCT JEE 2026 participating colleges will be handled by NCHMCT. Following the results announcement, NTA will give NCHMCT the NCHM JEE 2026 Score so that NCHMCT can undertake admissions counselling for BSc (HHA) courses.

• Reasoning & Logical Deductions: Analytical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Symmetry, Series, Syllogism, Blood Relations, Linear & Complex Arrangements, Symbols & Notations, Statement Assumptions, and Statement Conclusion are all covered in this part on reasoning and logical deductions.

• General Knowledge & Current Affairs: Prizes & Awards, World Statistics, Inventions & Discoveries, International Organisations, Sports, Disasters, Currencies, Books, etc. are important subjects in general knowledge and current affairs.

• English Language: Fill in the blanks, completing paragraphs and sentences, idioms and phrases, synonyms, antonyms, analogies, vocabulary, spelling mistakes, one-word substitution, and more are all included in the English language part.

• Service Sector Aptitude: This section contains questions about service sector aptitude.nation at the Advanced (A) level (London, Cambridge, Sri Lanka).
