The UPCATET is an annual state-level admissions exam. The UP Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test (UPCATET) is an admission test for numerous undergraduate and graduate agricultural programs.

 

This entrance exam is solely open to candidates from Uttar Pradesh. These courses are offered by Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology in Kanpur, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology in Meerut, Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology in Kumarganj, and Banda University of Agriculture and Technology in Banda, among others. The UPCATET exam lasts three hours and is only offered offline (pen and paper).

UPCATET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

 

To participate in the UPCATET 2025, candidates must meet the qualifying standards specified by the organizing organization. The qualifying standards specify that applicants must have lived in UP for at least five years. Candidates who do not currently reside in Uttar Pradesh but have relatives who did may still take the test.

  • Click on the ‘New Candidate Registration’ option.

  • An OTP will be sent to the candidate via SMS.

  • The conducting authority will generate a new registration number and password.

Step 2 - Application Form Fill Up

UPCATET 2025 Counselling 

 

The UPCATET counselling technique consists of several parts. To participate in the counselling process, you must complete the following steps. The steps are outlined in the table below:

  • Go to the official website for the counselling process.

  • Next, ‘Password Creator for Counselling’ select this option.

  • Now, candidates must enter their DOB and registration number.

  • Once done, click on the ‘Generate OTP’ option.

  • The generated OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number.

  • The candidates must enter the OTP and click on the submit option.

  • Further, candidates now require to create a new password and save it for further usage.

  • As the next step, candidates must log in using the newly created login credentials and upload all the required documents.

  • Pay the counselling registration fee.

Step 2 - Choice Filling (Online)

  • Candidates can advance to the choice filling option post registration.

  • Login with valid credentials and click on the ‘Choice Lock Option’.

  • Enter the choice of college and courses in a descending manner.

  • Lastly, click on the ‘Save’ option.

Step 3 - Seat Allocation and Fee Deposit

The participating colleges will release the seat matrix after the choice filling.Candidates can check the college they have been assigned.

NOTE: The allocation of the seats will depend on the vacancy and performance of the candidates.

Step 4 - Fee Deposit

  • Candidates need to reserve seats by paying INR 5000.

  • However, candidates must ensure that they fill in the fee for a seat on the assigned date and time to visit the college.

Step 5 - Reporting to the Allotted College/ Institute

  • Candidates must visit the allotted college or institute to participate in counselling.

  • Further, all the documents must be proper.
