BTech Petroleum Engineering: Course Details, Eligibility, Top Colleges

Published by : Step in college

B. Tech. Petroleum Engineering is an Undergraduate 4 years course.  In the study and discovery of natural reservoirs and petroleum reserves situated deep within the earth, petroleum engineers specialize. The four-year program covers the study of these reservoirs and deposits being discovered and located. Petroleum engineers are expected to locate oil reservoirs and, once these reservoirs are located, study and examine, with the help of other geologists, the geological formation, the nature of the rock containing the reservoir to determine the drilling method necessary for extraction.
