Bachelor of Science or BSc in Food Technology is a full-time undergraduate 3 years program. Food Technology is a multidisciplinary course including nutrition, chemical science, and food science. The course is designed to help students understand how food products are treated, stored, manufactured, or packaged. BSc Food Technology is a curriculum designed to establish experts in the fields of food science and technology. This curriculum gives students a comprehensive knowledge of scientific and technological approaches to the essence of raw foodstuffs.

This course will help students understand the basic concepts such as food structure, food, and nutrition, physical and microbiological characteristics. It also allows students to learn various food processing and food storage techniques. The curriculum covers a variety of topics, including chemical science, genetics, nutrition, biochemistry, chemical engineering, and microbiological research, etc. The students are also qualified to specialize in the production of cereals, milk, and oilseed and meat and meat products, alcohol, sugar, bakery, and cloakrooms.

- 10+2 education from a recognized educational board
- Physics, chemistry, and Biology/ Home Science are the core subjects at the 10+2 level of study.
- A minimum aggregate score at the 10+2 stage of 50 percent (45 percent for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
