NEET 2021 Exam Date to Be Revealed This Week

The National Eligibility Test for Undergraduate Medical and Dental Studies (NEET) is the country's single entrance exam for admission to undergraduate medical and dental programs. The National Board of Examination (NBE) administers an entrance exam for postgraduate entry.

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank' had previously stated that the government was considering conducting the exam several times during the year.

In response to a question about the NEET exam syllabus, the Minister said that the medical entrance exam would be conducted according to the NTA-determined syllabus, regardless of the reduction in the board exam syllabus.

NEET Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

The NEET exam is a 720-point paper-and-pencil test. The Physics and Chemistry sections each receive 180 points, while the Biology (Zoology and Botany) section receives 360 points. The test is 180 minutes long.

English, Hindi, Assamese, Gujarati, Bengali, Marathi, Odia, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu are among the 11 languages used in the exam. When filling out the application form, you must choose the medium of the question paper.

Every question on the NEET exam is worth four points. For each incorrect answer, one mark is deducted, while no marks are deducted for correct answers.
