TS ECET Registration Starts

Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Exam: The registration process for the Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Exam (TS ECET 2021) starts today. Those interested in applying for lateral entry admissions to engineering and pharmacy programs should go to ecet.tsche.ac.in and register. From today, March 22, to May 17, candidates can send online applications without paying a late fee. The cost of registration is Rs 800. (Rs 400 for reserved category candidates). The Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET 2021) online registration process begins today. Candidates may apply online at ecet.tsche.ac.in by May 17th.

Application form Fees and Date: The last date to submit an application form is May 31 and June 14, respectively, with late fees of Rs 250 and Rs 500. Candidates can also file for a late fee of Rs 2,500 or Rs 5,000 until June 24 and 28, respectively. The application fee can be charged in person at online centers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, or online with a credit card, debit card, or net banking. The TS ECET will be a three-hour exam with 200 questions on the question paper. All of the questions will be objective, and each one will be worth one mark.

Eligibility for TS ECET 2021: To be qualified for TS ECET, an applicant must meet the following requirements for their group:

  • For admission to the related BE, BTech, or BPharmacy programs, an applicant must have obtained a diploma in engineering and technology or pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh, or any other diploma approved by the Government of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh as an equivalent.
  • For entry into relevant courses, an applicant must have completed a three-year BSc degree examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the community combination from a recognized university in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh or its equivalent.
  • An applicant completing a sandwich diploma course will be eligible for admission to the appropriate BE, BTech, or BPharmacy programs if he or she has completed the sandwich course's practical training by the therapy date.
  • For admission into related programs, an applicant must have a diploma in engineering and technology or pharmacy, or a BSc (Mathematics) degree of at least 45 percent (40 percent for candidates from the reserved category).
