JEE Main: NIT Cut-Offs For BTech in ECE

The highest JEE Main rank at which an NIT closed admission to unreserved seats for BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2020 was 3,022 for candidates from outside Tamil Nadu. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main scores are used by the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) to admit students to their various undergraduate engineering programs. Candidates who pass JEE Main will be required to engage in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority's NIT counseling scheme (JoSAA). For candidates from outside Tamil Nadu, the highest JEE Main rank at which an NIT closed admission to unreserved seats for BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2020 was 3,022.

The cut-off ranks for admission to BTech in Electronics and Communication and other programs in 2021 will be available during the JoSAA counseling results, which will be held after the four rounds of JEE Main 2021 and the admission exam for Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) – JEE Advanced.

JoSAA held six rounds of counseling last year. After six rounds of counseling, the NITs closed admission for BTech in Electronics and Communication in 2020 at the following ranks. Only free, gender-neutral seats are included in the rankings. Both the home state (HS) and other states have cut-offs (OS). BTech seats at NITs are split evenly between students from within the state and those from outside the state. The cut-off ranks for reserved seats, seats for women, and seats for candidates with disabilities are different.

Factors Affecting NIT's B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering Cutoff in 2021: When evaluating the NITs cutoff for B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering, the following considerations will be considered:

  • The total number of people who qualified for the course.
  • JEE Key 2021 difficulty level Total number of seats available in the institute
  • Cutoffs for ECE in previous years' NITs

NITs Cutoff: For B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering in Previous Years JoSAA will announce the NITs cutoff for ECE in 2021 after JEE Main 2021 concludes. Candidates who will be taking the JEE Main 2021 exam can use the NITs cutoffs for B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering for the years 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, and 2015 as a guide. The NITs cutoff consists of a list of category-wise opening ranks (OR) and closing ranks (CR) for the B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering offered at each NIT.
