NEET PG On April 18, Marking Scheme for PG Medical Exam

NEET-PG 2021: On April 18, 2021, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET-PG) will be held. According to the marking scheme, a candidate will earn four points for each correct response, and one point will be deducted for marking incorrect responses. The National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Examination for Postgraduates (NEET-PG) will be held on April 18, 2021. For the academic session 2021, NEET PG is held for admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma programs. According to the NEET PG 2021 marking scheme, a candidate will receive four points for each correct response, and one point will be deducted for marking incorrect responses.

Exam Pattern NEET PG 2021: The National Board of Examinations (NBE), which administers the NEET PG exam, closed the fee payment window on Tuesday, March 30. NEET PG 2021 has about 1.7 lakh candidates registered. The exam pattern and notification are available at nbe.edu.in and natboard.edu.in.

Paper Pattern NEET PG 2021: The NEET PG 2021 exam will consist of 200 multiple-choice, single correct answer questions in English for a total of 800 points. In contrast to the NEET PG 2020 paper, the total number of questions in the NEET PG exam has been reduced to 200.

Syllabus for NEET PG 2021: All of the subjects taught during the MBBS curriculum will be covered in the NEET PG syllabus. According to the Graduate Medical Education Regulations provided by the erstwhile Medical Council of India, the NEET PG syllabus contains subjects and information areas, according to an NBE statement.

Tie-Breaking Criteria in NEET PG 2021: If two or more candidates have the same NEET PG ranking, the merit position will be decided by descending the following tie-breaker criteria:

  • Candidates with a higher number of correct answers on the question paper will be given a higher merit score.
  • Candidates with fewer negative answers on the question paper would be ranked higher on the merit scale.
  • Candidates who are older will be put in a higher merit position.
  • Candidates who receive higher aggregate marks (in percentage) in all MBBS Professional Examinations will be ranked higher on the merit list.

On April 12, applicants can download their NEET PG admit cards from the NBE website, nbe.edu.in. Candidates will be notified of the availability of the NEET PG admit card on the NBE website via SMS or email updates, as well as a website note.
