B.Sc. IT (Information Technology) is a 3-year undergraduate degree in information technology. Information technology is concerned with the storage, processing, and management of an organization's data. The B.Sc. IT program is designed to teach students how to manage large amounts of data and information in an organization, analyze the performance of computer systems and servers, and ensure safe data transmission through networks. The course is open to students who are interested in networking, network security systems, connectivity, database management, and information technology systems. The course is built with the needs of the industry in mind, as well as the need to handle large amounts of data that are generated on a daily basis in organizations. B.Sc. IT graduates become IT professionals with the critical and rational thinking skills needed to solve real-world problems.
