B.Tech Food Technology Course at Amity University

 

Bachelor of Technology in Food Technology or B.Tech Food Tech is a 4-year undergraduate program. It is the investigation of various food-related techniques. Candidates who have completed their 12th grade or an equivalent degree in the Science stream are eligible to enroll in a B.Tech in Food Technology program. Students will receive a curriculum covering the advanced concept of food technology and engineering, as well as in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of the concept of food science, through this course. Food Packaging, Nutrition Science, Food Manufacturing and Processing, Storage, and other topics of Food Science are addressed by the B.Tech in Food Technology course. Direct admission or a national-level entrance exam such as JEE Mains or state-level entrance exams are used to select candidates for admission to the B.Tech in Food Technology program.

 

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Food Technology

Applicants must have received a minimum of 50% in their 10+2 with PCM/B from a recognized board in order to be considered.

 

Selection Proces for B.Tech Food Technology

Candidates who have passed the National/State Engineering Entrance Exam will now apply from the convenience of their own homes. Submit the candidate's Entrance Exam score as well as a 1-minute SoP video in the online Application Form.

Food Engineer, Production Manager, Food Processing Engineer, Nutrition Specialist, Food Storage Manager, Food Executive, Analytical Science, and other career options are available to applicants with a B.Tech in Food Technology degree. An applicant with a B. Tech in Food Technology should expect to earn between INR 2 and 6 LPA as a starting salary. Scholarship Eligibility for B.Tech Food Technology

Applicants must meet any of the following criteria in order to be considered for a scholarship.

 

Eligibility for a Scholarship at 100%: 93 percent or higher in the aggregate in CBSE or ISC Board Class XII-2021/2020 (excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts/ Performing Arts/ Vocational/ Non-Written Subjects).

 

Eligibility for a Scholarship at 50%: 88 percent or higher in aggregate in CBSE or ISC Board Class XII-2021/2020 (excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts/ Performing Arts/ Vocational/ Non-Written Subjects).

 

Eligibility for a Scholarship 25%: In CBSE or ISC Board Class XII-2021/2020, 75 percent or higher in aggregate (excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts/ Performing Arts/ Vocational/ Non-Written Subjects).
