B.Com + LLB program is a five-year undergraduate program that combines law and commerce. The course is divided into ten semesters and is structured to provide students with knowledge of topics in commerce and business history, as well as various laws that are relevant in the professional world. Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BCom LLB) is a combined program that teaches both commerce and law to students. Business Statistics, Business Communication, Auditing, Economics, and other Commerce subjects are studied as part of the BCom LLB program. Candidates are also taught law subjects such as contract law, consumer protection law, constitutional law, criminal law, legal language, statute interpretation, and constitutional law, among others. B.Com+ LLB is an excellent career option for those who are interested in both business and law, as it enables applicants to achieve comprehensive expertise and earn two degrees in five years, namely a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Legislative Law. In most universities, the medium of instruction for B.Com + LLB is English.

Moot Court

An Interface Platform: The Amity School of Law has a Moot Court that can seat 300 students and is modeled after a real court. Law students use it to conduct virtual court sessions in which they discuss cases as part of their studies. The moot court is completely air-conditioned and soundproof, making it an excellent learning environment for law students.

 

Application Procedure

Students who achieve an average of 80 percent or higher in Class XII (CBSE/ISC/State-Boards of 2019/2020) are excluded from the selection process. Only the Amity Application Form will be used to make the final decision. Application Forms Are Available.

Scholarship Eligibility for B.Com., LL.B (Hons)

 

Scholarship worth 100%: Eligibility - 93 percent aggregate and above in CBSE/ISC/State Boards of Class XII- 2021/2020/2019 (excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts/ Performing Arts/ Vocational / non-written subjects).

 

Scholarship worth 50%: Eligibility: 88 percent composite and above in CBSE/ISC/State Boards of Class XII- 2021/2020/2019 (excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts/ Performing Arts/ Vocational / non-written subjects).

 

Scholarship worth 25%: Eligibility: 75 percent composite in CBSE/ISC/State Boards of Class XII- 2021/2020/2019 (excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts/ Performing Arts/ Vocational / non-written subjects).

Internship Program:

According to Section 25 of Schedule III (Part IV) of the BCI Rules, each enrolled B.A., LL.B student must perform a minimum of 20 weeks of internship during the course. Internship Programs at leading law firms/NGOs, Advocates, and Judges around the country are supported by the University. The aim is to provide the student with an awareness of how legal luminaries actually function and the difficulties they face. Students gain expertise in legislative drafting, opinion writing, client consulting, observation, administrative and criminal procedure, regulatory review and interpretation, and implementation and compliance of regulations with the help of professional mentors in law firms or legal organizations. Students are required to gain an understanding of the legislative, administrative, and judicial authorities' methods and roles through their work and class discussions.
