B.A. Hons. History is a 3-year undergraduate program. B.A. Hons. History course entails a mode of study that is rich in historiographical approaches to the discipline's analysis. The program provides a broad variety of courses in both Indian and global history, as well as ancient and contemporary archaeological approaches that reflect current disciplinary practices. Seminar-style formats and regular lectures are part of the curriculum. The course provides qualifying applicants with the ability to study History as an academic subject at an advanced level, providing insight into how human society evolved from ancient times and how advancements occurred over time. A thorough analysis of the kings who ruled various countries around the world at various times is included in the curriculum. The History of India, Social Formations and Cultural Patterns of the Ancient World, Medieval World, History of The West, and History of Modern Europe are all covered in the B.A. Hons. History curriculum. The curriculum aims to provide qualified students with basic and advanced history lessons, as well as research, study, and quantitative thinking skills that are necessary for a solid foundation in the Liberal Arts. History is the study of the progression of human cultures through the ages, from prehistory to the present. The course includes a thorough examination of significant historical events that happened in India and around the world.

Scholarship Eligibility for BA Hons History

To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must meet one or more of the following requirements.


Eligibility for a Scholarship at 100%: 93 percent or higher in the aggregate in CBSE or ISC Board Class XII-2021/2020 (excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts/ Performing Arts/ Vocational/ Non-Written Subjects).


Eligibility for a Scholarship at 50%: 88 percent or higher in aggregate in CBSE or ISC Board Class XII-2021/2020 (excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts/ Performing Arts/ Vocational/ Non-Written Subjects).


Eligibility for a Scholarship 25%: In CBSE or ISC Board Class XII-2021/2020, 75 percent or higher in aggregate (excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts/ Performing Arts/ Vocational/ Non-Written Subjects).
