MDUCEE (Maharshi Dayanand University Common Entrance Exam)


MDUCEE refers to Maharshi Dayanand University Common Entrance Exam. This is a state-level entrance test; conducted by the universities of Haryana. This exam s conducted every year to provide admission in various courses such as M.Sc and M.Pharma courses. This entrance examination will be conducted by the Maharshi Dayanand University Common Entrance Exam this year.

MDUCEE : Eligibility Criteria


M.Sc. (Biochemistry)

  • B.Sc/B.Sc (Hons.) in Biochemistry/Biotechnology
  • Bachelor degree in Pharmacy
  • B.Sc. (Pass) with any of 3 subjects Chemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Medical Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry (At least two subjects should be associated with Biology)
  • Minimum marks- 50%


M.Sc. (Biotechnology), M.Sc. (Agricultural Biotechnology), M.Sc. (Bioinformatics)

  • Bachelor's degree in Biological Science with a subsidiary subject in Chemistry
  • Bachelor degree in Agriculture Science, Fisheries, Horticulture
  • B.Tech. in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology or Environmental Science
  • B.Sc. Biomedical Engineering or Biochemistry
  • B.V. Sc./B.E. (Technology)/B.Pharma/MBBS/B.Sc. (Bioinformatics)/B.Tech. or B.E. (Bioinformatics)/B.D.S.
  • Minimum marks- 50%


M.Sc. (Medical Biotechnology)

  • Bachelor's degree in Biological Science with a subsidiary subject in Chemistry
  • B.Tech. or B.E. (Biotechnology)
  • B.Sc. Biotechnologies, Bioinformatics and Biochemistry/B.V. Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, Environmental Science Sc./B.Pharma./MBBS
  • Minimum marks- 50%


M.Sc. (Botany)

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) in Botany
  • B.Sc.(Pass) with Botany and any of the two subjects of Anthropology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Genetics, Microbiology and Zoology.
  • Minimum marks- 50%


M.Sc. (Environmental Sciences), M.Sc. (Energy and Environmental Science), M.Sc. (Environmental Biotechnology)

  • B.Sc. (Hons. Or Pass) in any science & technology discipline.
  • Minimum marks- 50%


M.Sc. (Food Technology), M.Sc. (Food Science & Technology)

  • Passed Class XII with PCM or PCB
  • B.Sc.(Pass) degree in Medical or Non-Medical Sciences or B.Sc. Sc. For any of the 17 medical sciences or non-medical sciences, (Hons.) subjects,
  • B.Sc.(Hons) or B.Sc. (Pass) degree in applied sciences, including Agriculture/ Fisheries/ Horticulture/ Food Science/Food Processing Technology/Home Science
  • B.E./B.Tech Food Technology/ Sugar Technology/Agriculture Processing Engineering. / Post Harvest Technology

M.Sc. (Genetics)

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) in any of the Biochemistry, Botany, Environmental Science, Genetics, Microbiology or Zoology subjects.
  • B.Sc.(Pass) with three subjects from the disciplines of Anthropology, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Botany, Fisheries Chemistry, Genetics, Hematology, Immunology, Industrial Microbiology, Medical Biochemistry, and Zoology.
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or Home Science or Science of Agriculture or Veterinary Science
  • B.E. or B.Tech. (Biotechnology or Bioinformatics)


M.Sc. (Microbial Biotechnology), M.Sc. (Microbiology)

  • B.Sc. (Hons) in any of the following subjects: biochemistry, biotechnology, botany, genetics, industrial microbiology, microbiology, biochemistry or zoology.
  • B.Sc. (Pass) with three or more topics from the fields of biochemistry, environmental sciences, biotechnology, botany, chemistry, genetics, industrial microbiology, microbiology, microbiology and zoology.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Home Science or Veterinary Science or Agricultural Science


M.Sc. (Zoology)

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) in Zoology
  • Three of the following subjects: biochemistry, environmental science, biotechnology, botany, chemistry, genetics, industrial microbiology, microbiology, microbiology and zoology, B.Sc.(Pass).


M.Sc. (Forensic Science)

  • B.Sc. (Forensic Science)
  • B.Sc. (Pass) with either Botany, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Zoology or BDS with any of the two subjects.


M. Pharm. (Industrial Pharmacy), M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutics) (Drug Regulatory Affairs), M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutics), M. Pharm. (Drug Regulatory Affairs), M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutical Chemistry), M. Pharm. (Pharmacognosy), M. Pharm. (Pharmacology)
