AUCET (Andhra University Common Entrance Test)

 

AUCET stands for the Traditional Entrance Examination of Andhra University, conducted by Andhra University. This exam is held for admission into PG courses in the field of Arts, Humanities, Law, and Engineering. This is a state-level entrance exam conducted offline at various test centres located in Andhra Pradesh. The official notification and exam date for AUCET 2021 is scheduled to be issued in June. Owing to the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, the exam process has been postponed this year. The AP government is considering holding a general entrance exam for admission to all universities, but no final decision has been made. The Directorate of Admissions, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, administers the Andhra University General Entrance Test, also known as AUCET. Eligible candidates who pass the AUCET entrance exam will be able to enrol in a variety of PG Arts, Science, Law, and Engineering courses offered by AUCET participating colleges. AUCET is a gateway test for students seeking admission to Andhra University's and its affiliated colleges' postgraduate programmes. Students in their final year qualifying test, in addition to graduates, may apply for AUCET 2021.

AUCET 2021: Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc.

 

Biotechnology Should have completed B.Sc./B.Sc (Vocational) with either of the two subjects listed below: Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Human Genetics, Fisheries, Aquaculture, Mathematics, and Environmental Sciences, B.Sc. (Vocational) with Food Science & Quality Control
Biochemistry Should have completed B.Sc./B.Sc. (Vocational) Chemistry/ Biochemistry B.Sc. (Vocational) with Food Science & Quality Control.
Microbiology Should have completed B.Sc. (Vocational) with a combination of 2 choices- Microbiology, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Human Genetics, Environmental Sciences, Home Science, Dairy Sciences, Fisheries, Biotechnology, Medical Lab Technology, App. Nutrition, Nutrition & Dietetics, Public Health, Nursing, Plant Protection, Agriculture and Horticulture, Forestry, B.Sc. Agriculture, B.Sc. Home Science.
Zoology Should have completed B.Sc./B.Sc. Vocational Zoology and any other two science subjects.

Agricultural Biotechnology Should have completed B.Sc./B.Sc. Application for AUCET 2021

The application form for AUCET 2021 is scheduled to be published in June, with the entrance exam date to be announced later. Candidates choose from a list of exam centres located throughout the state of Andhra Pradesh when filling out the application form for the AUCET exam. There is a provision for submitting the online application form with the late fee if an applicant fails to apply for the entrance exam within the specified time span.

 

Steps to fill AUCET 2021 Application Form

The following are the steps that applicants must take to complete the AUCET 2021 online application form:

  • Step 1: Applicants must go to the above-mentioned direct application connection for AUCET 2021.
  • Step 2: Applicants will see a path to “Registration” once they arrive at the home page.
  • Step 3: After clicking the "Registration" link, applicants must complete the application form with all required information and then click the "Register & Proceed" button.
  • Step 4: Applicants will be directed to a new page that will show all of the data they entered in the previous step.
  • Step 5: The applicants will be given their Application Number and Payment Reference ID in the next step.
  • Step 6: Applicants must now pay the AUCET 2021 online application fee through one of the payment gateways.
  • Step 7: The final step in the AUCET 2021 application process is for applicants to log in with their date of birth and application number to print the application form after paying the application fee.

Admit Card for AUCET

The AUCET admit card is available on Andhra University, Visakhapatnam's official website. Since the AUCET admit card is such an essential document, it must be brought to the examination centre along with one of the photo ID proofs. Candidates will raise any issues with the hall ticket before downloading the AUCET hall ticket if any anomalies are discovered. Candidates must enter their Application number and Date of Birth in order to access the AUCET admit card. Candidates must take a printout of their AUCET to admit card and bring it with them to the exam centre after downloading the admit card.

Steps to Get the AUCET Answer Key

Candidates will access the AUCET 2020 response key by following the comprehensive procedure outlined below:

  • Step 2: The candidates must then click on the “AUCET Answer Key 2020” button located on the list.
  • Step 3: Candidates will be led to a new page containing all of the response key sets.
  • Step 4: Candidates must locate the response key that corresponds to their exam set and then download it.

Note: It is recommended that candidates save an offline copy for future reference.

 

Results of the AUCET

Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, has announced the AUCET 2020 results on its official website. Candidates who took the AUCET entrance exam should be well-versed in all aspects of the AUCET result. It should be noted that all candidates who participate in this entrance will be able to view their results on the AUCET official website. They must also obey those instructions that we have given in the section below. The examination conducting authority, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, will announce the AUCET 2020 results. Candidates who perform well in this exam will apply for admission to a variety of postgraduate programmes such as M.Sc, M.A, M.H.R.M, M.J.M.C, M.Com, M.L.I.Sc, M.Ed.

Process of AUCET Counseling

The detailed protocol for the AUCET counselling process will be published in March, along with the notification for the AUCET entrance test. The AUCET counselling procedure is expected to remain unchanged, with only minor changes to the steps that candidates must follow:
After the AUCET rank card is issued, you can download it from the official website.

  • Execution of the Certificate Verification Procedure (for all the candidates who appear in the AUCET 2020 rank card along with special category students)
  • During the Web Options method, choose options.
  • Await notification of the first step of the seat allocation process.
  • The first round of seat allocation for AUCET 2020 has begun.
  • Payment for a reserved seat on a course
  • After the first step of the AUCET 2020 seat allotment process is completed, wait for the show of vacant seats.
  • Re-do steps 5 and 6 if necessary.
