AUCET (Andhra University Common Entrance Test)

 

AUCET stands for the Traditional Entrance Examination of Andhra University, conducted by Andhra University. This exam is held for admission into PG courses in the field of Arts, Humanities, Law, and Engineering. This is a state level entrance exam conducted offline at various test centers located in Andhra Pradesh.

AUCET 2021: Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc.

 

Biotechnology Should have completed B.Sc./B.Sc (Vocational) with either of the two subjects listed below: Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Human Genetics, Fisheries, Aquaculture, Mathematics, and Environmental Sciences, B.Sc. (Vocational) with Food Science & Quality Control
Biochemistry Should have completed B.Sc./B.Sc. (Vocational) Chemistry/ Biochemistry B.Sc. (Vocational) with Food Science & Quality Control.
Microbiology Should have completed B.Sc. (Vocational) with a combination of 2 choices- Microbiology, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Human Genetics, Environmental Sciences, Home Science, Dairy Sciences, Fisheries, Biotechnology, Medical Lab Technology, App. Nutrition, Nutrition & Dietetics, Public Health, Nursing, Plant Protection, Agriculture and Horticulture, Forestry, B.Sc. Agriculture, B.Sc. Home Science.
Zoology Should have completed B.Sc./B.Sc. Vocational Zoology and any other two science subjects.
Botany Should have completed B.Sc. Botany with two other subjects in science, including vocational subjects.
Human Genetics Should have completed B.Sc. 3 choices-  Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Genetics, Human Genetics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Medical Lab Tech.
Agricultural Biotechnology Should have completed B.Sc./B.Sc. (Vocational) with 2 choices- Botany, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Horticulture, Agriculture, Forestry, Genetics, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Seed Technology, Zoology B.Sc.  (Vocational) With Food Science and Quality Control. 4 years of  B.Sc. (Agriculture)
Foods, Nutrition & Dietetics Should have completed B. Sc. with any life science subject or
B.Sc. Home Science B.Sc. (Vocational) Food Science & Quality Control or
B. Sc. with Nutrition as one of the subjects.
Marine Biology and Fisheries/M.Sc. Coastal Aquaculture &Marine/Biotechnology M.Sc. (Marine Biotechnology) B.Sc. Vocational Zoology and two science subjects or
B.Sc. Fisheries / BFSC.
Environmental Sciences Should have completed B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Vocational) with Chemistry and in an optional student can choose any two of the Life Science Subjects
B.E.M / B.Sc.(Ag) / B.Sc. (Vocational) with Food Science & Quality Control.
Fishery Science Should have done B.Sc. Zoology and any other two science subjects B.Sc. with Aquaculture, Fisheries and Industrial Fisheries.
Home Science Should have passed 10+2+3 format
Composite/General Home Science for B.Sc. Food and Nutrition / Food Technology. with Chemistry and Life Sciences.
Anthropology B.Sc. with any Life Science subject.
Physics, Space Physics, Nuclear Physics, Tech. Geophysics, Marine Geophysics B.Sc. in physics, mathematics and any other subject in non-biological science.
Meteorology M.Sc. Physical Oceanography –Sc. with Physics and Mathematics.
Electronics (Instrumentation) B.Sc., with electronics, mathematics, etc. B.Sc. Mathematics, Physics and any other subject with P.G. Diploma in Electronics, P.G. Diploma in Instrumentation.
Applied Mathematics Mathematics and Physics B.Sc. Mathematics with Physical Sciences in class XII.
M.Sc. Mathematics Must have done B.A/B.Sc. Mathematics.
Computer Science Candidate should have passed the A.P. state intermediate examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject at 10+2 level
Should have done 3-year B.Sc. degree with Mathematics and computer science or 3year B.C.A. degree program recognized by AU.
Environmental Chemistry Forensic Chemistry Bio-Inorganic Chemistry Inorganic Chemistry Chemistry and Study of Foods, Medicines & Water Organic Chemistry Nuclear Chemistry Marine Chemistry B.Sc. (Vocational) as one of the subjects, with Chemistry/Applied Chemistry.
Physical chemistry-B.Sc. is required for the nominee. /B.Sc. Sc. (Vocational) as the other two subjects, with Chemistry / Applied Chemistry and Mathematics & Physics
Applied Chemistry Must have passed B.Sc. /B.Sc. Vocational Chemistry as one of the topics / Applied Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry
Geology Must have done B.Sc. with Geology with any other two subjects.
Applied Geology B.Sc. Geology with any two subjects- Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Mineral beatification, and Materials Handling
Applied Geology B.Sc. Geology with any two subjects- Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Mineral beatification, and Materials Handling
