By logging into their NMAT by GMAC account, candidates can access their scorecard. The candidate's score will be sent to the B schools they chose until the final percentile score is revealed after the third test window. The scorecard contains a percentile ranking and a scaled score for each segment (Language Skills, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Skills). Candidates who took the exam will receive notification of their results via email. The NMAT by GMAC scorecard is not submitted in hard copy by mail or courier. The test takers must log in with their Application ID and Password to view their NMAT through the GMAC scorecard, which is available online.

Normalization Process for NMAT

Scaled ratings, percentile scores, and historical percentile scores are all included on the NMAT scorecard from GMAC.

Scores on a scale: The scaled scores are generated after the candidates' grades have been normalised. Both ratings are compared to see if there is a difference in overall difficulty. This procedure is used to ensure that the scores on different sets of question papers are comparable.

Percentile Rankings: The final percentile is calculated after the candidates have taken the NMAT. This score compares the candidates' performance on the entrance exam to that of all other candidates who took the NMAT exam.

Percentile Scores in the Past: This score represents a candidate's results as compared to all other candidates who took the GMAC NMAT the previous year.

Merit List for the NMAT

The NMAT merit list will be prepared by GMAC for candidates who have passed the entrance exam. The candidates' scores in the entrance exam will be used to compile the NMAT merit list. Candidates should be aware that they will be invited to participate in the NMAT Selection Process based on the NMAT merit list.

Cutoff for NMAT

The Graduate Management Admission Council will prepare a cut-off list for the NMAT after the GMAC results are published (GMAC). The cut-off list establishes the minimum score an applicant must obtain in order to be considered for admission through this entrance exam. It is designed for colleges to use in shortlisting candidates based on the maximum and minimum marks they receive in this test. Institutions can also use the cut-off points to submit shortlisted applicants to the next round of selection, which includes a Group Discussion (GD) and a Personal Interview (PI).

How to Check the NMAT Cut-Off

Candidates can learn how to verify the NMAT cutoff by following the steps outlined below.

  • Go to the NMAT's official website.
