MICAT (Mudra Institute of Communication Admission Test)

Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad (MICA) conducts MICAT twice a year for admission to its post-graduate diploma programme. MICA, Ahmedabad, was established in 1991 and is the only residential institute in the world, if not the Asia-Pacific region, dedicated to developing strategic marketing and communication leadership. The MICA Admissions Test (MICAT) is MICA's mandatory entrance assessment, which candidates must take in addition to one of the AICTE-mandated examinations: CAT/XAT/GMAT. MICA's flagship Post-Graduate Diploma in Management - Communications (PGDM-C) is a two-year programme that prepares business leaders with a focus on innovative thinking, strategic marketing, community engagement, creativity, and communications. The key goal of MICAT is to assess the candidates' overall abilities and skills. MICA, Ahmedabad, administers the MICAT management entrance test. The exam is required for admission to the PGDM-C, or Post Graduate Diploma in Management Communications, which is a two-year programme. MICAT is held twice a year, in the months of December and February, for aspirants. Shortlisted candidates will be considered for admission to MICA, Ahmedabad based on the better of the two MICAT exam results.

MICAT Eligibility Criteria:

  • To appear in MICAT the candidates must have appeared (or appearing) in CAT 2020/XAT 2021/GMAT (2019 onwards)
  • Candidate must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent (Any discipline) recognized by AIU (Association of Indian Universities)
  • Applicants who are pursuing in final year bachelor's degree can also apply for MICAT.

MICAT II Admit Card 

The admit card for MICAT II 2021 was issued on January 27, 2021. The exam is scheduled for January 30, 2021. MICA Ahmedabad launched the MICAT I 2021 admit card on December 3, 2020. The MICAT 2021 admit card is a vital document that includes applicant information, a portrait, signature, test centre information, exam timing, and other instructions. Candidates must enter their MICA ID and Password in order to obtain the MICAT 2021 admit card. Candidates will be asked to bring photo ID evidence in addition to their MICAT 2021 admit card.

 

Steps to Download MICAT Admit Card 2021

Candidates must take the steps outlined below to obtain their MICAT admit card 2021.

  • Step 1: Go to www.mica.ac.in, which is MICA's official website.
  • Step 2: On the phone, you'll see a login tab.
  • Step 3: Candidates must enter their login credentials, namely their User ID and Password, and then press the login button.
  • Step 4: Candidates may access the MICAT 2021 admit card after entering the required information.
  • Step 5: Candidates must double-check all of the details mentioned on the MICAT 2021 admit card before downloading it.
  • Step 6: After reviewing all of the details, candidates should download and print at least two copies of the MICAT 2021 Admit Card.

 

MICAT 2021 Answer Key

The MICAT 2021 Response Key contains the answers to all of the exam's questions. Candidates will use the MICAT Answer Key to see how well they did on the test. To get an idea of their success on the entrance exam, they simply need to compare their responses to the answers given in the Answer Key and determine their likely scores.

MICAT response keys are available from both official and unofficial sources for candidates. The official MICAT answer key is published on the MICA Ahmedabad website, and some coaching institutes also publish their answer keys.

MICAT II 2021 Result

The results of MICAT II 2021 were released on February 15, 2021. On January 30, 2021, the exam was held. Since the MICAT II 2021 results have been released, MICA will release the GEPI shortlist on February 19, and the MICAT 2021 interview process will begin on March 9 and will proceed on various dates for different campuses until March 21.

On December 22, 2020, at 6 p.m., the MICAT I 2021 results were published. MICAT I results were scheduled to be released on December 21, 2020, but they were postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. The results of MICAT II will be announced on February 14, 2021. The MICAT 2020 scorecard will be determined by the candidates' results in the entrance exam.

 

MICAT 2021 Score Calculation

  • Qualifying for the Psychometric Test section is required of all candidates.
  • On the Psychometric and Descriptive pages, there is no negative marking.
  • Only the Verbal Ability, General Awareness, Quantitative Ability, and Data Interpretation sections, as well as the Divergent and Convergent Thinking sections, are subject to a 0.25 mark penalty.
  • The 0.25 negative marking applies to any incorrect answer in the Verbal Ability, General Awareness, Quantitative Ability, and Data Interpretation parts, as well as the Divergent and Convergent Thinking sections.

Applicants may review their MICAT 2021 results by following the steps listed below.

  • You'll be taken to a page where you'll need to enter your login details.
  • After entering the appropriate credentials, click the 'Login' tab, and your scorecard will appear on the screen.
  • Your MICAT 2021 scorecard can be downloaded and saved.
  • Make a copy of the outcome for future reference.

 

MICAT 2021 Cut Off

Following the announcement of the results for those who took the entrance exam, the MICAT 2021 cut-off will be announced. The MICAT 2021 cut-off marks are the minimum marks that candidates must achieve in order to advance to the next round of the MICAT. After taking the entrance exam, applicants must review their overall score/percentile in order to be considered for the next round of admissions. Candidates should be aware that if they do not meet the minimum requirements, they will not be considered for further rounds of the application process.

The final cut-off list will be released after the MICAT I and MICAT II results are revealed, and the MICAT 2021 cut-off will be based on the results of the appeared candidates. Following that, the MICAT admissions selection process for PGDM-C will take place.
