Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT)

 

IIFT Entrance Test is a particular entrance test for an institute. The exam is conducted for admission to the Indian International Trade Institute (IIFT). It is held in pen and paper mode. IIFT test is carried out for two hours in November and consists of 200 multiple-choice questions.

IIFT Admission Process 2021

 

  • The IIFT admission process involves several rounds of shortlisting and selection of candidates.
  • Aspirants who clear the IIFT exam cut offs are further called for Essay Writing, GD (Group Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview) rounds.
  • A subject related to general or business affairs is offered to candidates for essay writing. The time allotted to draft an essay of around 300 words is 20 minutes.
  • In GD (group discussion) round, the candidates are divided into groups of 10-12 and given a topic. Candidates are then expected to take lead, communicate efficiently and present their ideas effectively.
  • Last round is the personal interview round where the panelist asks questions to the candidates.

IIFT does not release any document on syllabus of the exam, But through analysis of previous years papers, IIFT syllabus includes topics from

  • Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC),
  • Quantitative Aptitude (QA),
  • Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation (LRDI)
  • General Knowledge.
