BITSAT 2021: Eligibility Criteria

 

Age Limit

  • There is no such age restrictions but the candidates who have passed class XII in 2020 or 2019 are eligible to appear for BITSAT.

Eligibility Criteria for B.E. (Hons.), M.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. (Tech.) Programs

  • Candidates should have passed class XII exams from a recognized board, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects.
  • The minimum aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects is required.

Eligibility Criteria for B. Pharm (Hons.) Programs

  • Students should havecompleted class XII examinations with minimum 75% aggregate marks.
  • They should include Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the main subjects.

 

BITSAT 2020: Application process

 

The application process for BITSAT 2021 will starts from December and the last date for registration will be in March. One can only apply online for BITSAT 2021

  • Application Form:

Enter your personal and educational details to generate an application number.

  • Upload Scanned Images

Upload recent photograph and signature in good quality. The size of the image should be between 4 kb to 50 Kb (for photograph) and 1 kb to 30 kb (for signature)

  • Payment of Application Fee:

The application fee for BITSAT 2021 is different for male, female candidates and NRI candidates. The online application fee can be paid via credit card/debit card or net banking while the offline payment can be made via bank challan.

BITSAT 2021: Admit Card

 

  • Candidates can download admit card from the official website the conducting body announces the release date for downloading.
  • Candidates can download the BITSAT 2021 Admit Card from the official website.
  • The admit card consists of the Name of the candidate, Photograph and Signature, application number, test center details, Test date, Test time, Date of exam, test slot, and exam instructions.
  • Use BITSAT Application Number, D.O.B and Email ID to download the admit card.
  • In case of any incorrect information in BITSAT Admit Card, do report the conducting authority in time for the generation of a new admit card with correct information.

BITSAT 2021: Syllabus

 

Candidates should carefully go through their class XI and XII syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Some important topics are given below :

  1. Physics:  (Mechanical Properties, Current Electricity, Dual Nature of Matter & Radiation, Magnetism & Moving Charges, Rigid Body Dynamics, Gravitation, Kinematics, Work, Energy and Power)
  2. Chemistry: (P-Block Elements, Hydrogen and the s-Block Element, Coordination Compounds, Thermodynamics and Thermochemistry, States of Matter, Haloalkanes and Haloarenes, Alkenes and Alkynes, Chemical Bonding)
  3. English: (Grammar, Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, Composition)
  4. Logical Reasoning: (Analogy, Classification, Logical Deduction, Series completion, Pattern perception, paper cutting, Rule detection, Figure matrix)
  5. Mathematics: (Complex no., Quadratic equation, Matrices & determinants, Trigonometry, Probability, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, Differential Equation)

BITSAT : Results

 

BITSAT 2020 Results are generally announced in 2 parts i.e. score card and admission list. Candidates can check their BITSAT Score just after completing their exam. The screen displays the result in the form of total correct answers and wrong answers with the scores. Admit list and wait list is released in the month of June.

How to check the results online

  • Go to the official website of BITS.
  • On the tab, click "Online Result for BITSAT".
  • Enter their name, application number, date of birth and roll no. and submit
  • The BITS 2020 Online Scorecard will appear on the screen.
  • Download it for future use

BITSAT Answer Keys: Some coaching institutes release the answers keys for BITSAT. Once the answer key for BITSAT 2020 is out, candidates can their match your answers.

 

BITSAT 2020: Cut Off

 

BITSAT 2020 cut off must be scored by candidates to participate in admission rounds. The cut off scores varies for differentcampuses of BITS.
