JEECE (Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Exam)

Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Exam (JEECE ) is conducted Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board in the month of May. It is conducted for the students to get admission in the engineering colleges of Jharkhand. The exam is conducted in offline mode every year. JEECE exam consists of 3 sections and candidates will get 3 hours to solve them. Only citizens of India and Local/Permanent residents of Jharkhand are eligible to take part in JEECE 2021.

JEECE 2021: Application Fee


It is possible to pay the application fees through Net Banking, Credit Card/Debit Card.The application fee paid is not refunded under any situations. The application fee varies for the general and reserved category as given below:

JEECE 2021: Eligibility


All the candidates need fulfill the eligibility criteria to take admission in various institutes of Jharkhand through JEECE 2021. The candidates who do not fulfill any of the JEECE eligibility criteria will be disqualified for admission during the counseling process. The eligibility criterion for JEECE 2021 is given below:

Domicile criteria:

  • The eligibility criteria for JEECE 2021 includes residential place of candidates have to be Jharkhand in order to be eligible to appear for this entrance exam.

Age Limit:

  • Candidates have to ensure that their minimum age should be 17 years at the time of application for JEECE 2021.

Academic Qualification:

  • Candidates are eligible to apply for JEECE 2021 who has passed their Class XII or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • Candidates who have studied Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects as well as Chemistry or Biology as optional subjects in the course can apply.
  • Candidates who have secured minimum aggregate of 45% in their HSC exam for general category or reserved category candidates need to secure a minimum aggregate of 40%.
  • Candidates should have cleared JEE Main entrance exam

  • The application forms for JEECE are available after the declaration of JEE Main 2021 (February) results.

Steps to fill JEECE 2020 Application Form


  1. Visit the official website of JEECE 2020 given below:
  3. Click on the ‘New Registration’ link.
  4. Register yourself and you will get registration ID as the process gets completed.
  5. Click on JEECE 2020 Online Application Form Submission.
  6. Enter your personal details, academic details, course and exam center choice and communication address/ contact.
  7. Fill in the full form with all the information you need, such as name, gender, category, email ID, date of birth, generate application number and password
  8. Save both for future reference.
  9. Login using given application number and password.
  10. Upload the photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression(Please check the table given above for the required size)
  11. Submit the fee and you will be redirected to a new page

JEECE 2021: Syllabus


  • The JEECE Syllabus contains physics, chemistry and mathematics topics from the Jharkhand State Board's 10+2 curriculum.
  • All the sections carry 50 questions.
  • In the text, the entire syllabus and questions are distributed similarly in terms of overall degree of difficulty.
  • Important topics for JEECE are given below:
  • Physics: electrostatics, current electricity, magnetic effect of current magnetism, alternating current electromagnetic induction, electromagnetic waves, optics, nuclei of atoms, systems of communication.
  • Chemistry: Electrochemistry, Solutions, Surface Chemistry, Isolation of Elements, Coordination Compounds, Organic Chemistry
  • Mathematics: Algebra, Calculus, Vectors and Three – Dimensional Geometry, Probability, Linear Programming.
