GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test)

The Gujarat General Entrance Test is administered by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Department of Education, Gujarat State (GUCET). GUJCET will be held at government, grant-in-aid and self-financed engineering institutions in the state for admission to the Bachelor of Engineering and Technology/Pharmacy courses.

GUJCET 2021: Eligibility Criteria

 

The criteria prescribed by the Gujarat authorities for eligibility in the GUCET 2021 examination constitutes of nationality, age limit and academic qualification. Candidates must meet all the requirements or failing to meet any requirement will lead to rejection of candidature. The GUJCET 2021 eligibility criteria are given below in detail.

Nationality: Candidates should be Indian National

State: A bonafide resident of Gujarat should be a nominee. If a nominee is a resident of Bonafide but lives in any other state, he or she will be eligible for GUJCET 2021.

Age: Minimum age of applicant must be 17 years

Academic Qualification:

  • Candidates should have passed class XII from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar/CBSE Delhi/CISCE New Delhi/NIOS/International School Board.
  • Applicants who will be appearing for 10+2 examination (Science Stream) in 2021 can also apply for GUJCET 2021.
  • Candidates belonging to general category must have secured at least 45% marks and 40% if belongs to reserved category.

  • For general category: Rs. 300
  • For other categories: Rs. 300

 

GUJCET 2021: Admit Card

GUJCET 2021 admit card will be issued online e of around 10 days before the exam. You can download your admit card from the official website of GSEB at gseb.org. Candidates can successfully register and download the admit card. The following steps are given for downloading the hall ticket:

  • Go to the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board's official website, Gandhinagar,
  • Click on the tab ‘board website’.
  • Clinck the link ‘GUJCET 2021 hall ticket’.
  • Enter your application number and D.O.B.
  • Submit the details
  • The admission card for GUJCET 2021 will appear on the screen.
  • Please download and take the printout of the hall pass.

  • Time Division: 3 hours (120 minutes for Physics and Chemistry and 60 minutes for Mathematics)

GSEB will release GUJCET 2020 Result on its official website. The GUCET 2020 result will have subject wise distribution of marks, total marks, state ranking, category ranking and the GUJCET 2020 qualifying status.
