The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Department of Education, Gujarat State, administers the Gujarat General Entrance Test (GUCET). For admission to Bachelor of Engineering and Technology/Pharmacy programs, GUJCET will be held in government, grant-in-aid, and self-financed engineering universities throughout the state.

GUJCET 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Nationality, age limit, and academic qualification are among the conditions set forth by the Gujarat government for qualifying in the GUCET 2021 examination. Candidates must fulfill all of the conditions; failure to do so will result in their candidature being rejected. The eligibility criteria for GUJCET 2021 are detailed below.

Nationality: Candidates should be Indian National

State: A genuine Gujarati resident should be nominated. A nominee who is a Bonafide resident but lives in another state will be eligible for GUJCET 2021.

Age: Minimum age of the applicant must be 17 years

Academic Qualification:

  • Candidates must have completed class XII at the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board in Gandhinagar/CBSE Delhi/CISCE New Delhi/NIOS/International School Board/CBSE Delhi/CISCE New Delhi/NIOS/International School Board.
  • Applicants who will take the 10+2 exam (Science Stream) in 2021 are also eligible to apply for GUJCET 2021.
  • Candidates in the general category must have received at least 45 percent, while those in the reserved category must have received at least 40 percent.

 

Step to Apply GUJCET 2021

By May 2021, candidates will be eligible to apply for the GUJCET 2021. (Tentatively). The official website will have the GUJCET 2021 form available to fill out online. Candidates will be needed to provide and upload specific details when filling out the GUJCET application form. Step 1: When the GUJCET 2021 application is available, go to the official website.

Step 2: Click the "Sign-Up" button to create an account on the site. Candidates will be asked to fill out some basic personal information.
