Eligibility Criteria for Kumaon University B.Ed./M.Ed. Entrance Test:

 

For B.Ed Course:

 

  • Students who appear for their final qualifying examination (U.G or P.G) are entitled to be declared and made available to the University on or before the date of verification/counselling of the B.Ed course according to their U.G or P.G performance.
  • In their graduation or post graduation test, candidates belonging to the General group should have secured at least 50 percent points. Applicants with a percentile of 49.99 are not eligible to apply.
  • In their graduation or post-graduation test, candidates belonging to the reserved group (Other Backwards Class, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe) should have obtained at least 45 percent marks. Applicants with a 44.99 percentage are not qualified to apply.
  • Candidates should have no criminal history against them.
  • Candidates who have been debarred for some cause by the university will not be eligible.

For M.Ed Course:

 

  • For their B.T / L.T Equivalent Test / B.EL.Ed / D.EL.Ed / B.A B.Ed / B.Sc B.Ed or B.Ed, students who engage in a qualifying examination (B.T / L.T / B.EL.Ed / D.EL.Ed / B.A B.Ed / B.Sc B.Ed or B.Ed Equivalent Examination) are eligible. It announces and makes available the University Enrollment Date of the M.Ed course.Applicants do not have criminal records against them.
  • Candidates who have been debarred for some cause by the university will not be eligible.

M.Ed Exam Scheme

 

The entrance test will have just one paper for this course. The test would have a length of 2 hours.The examination will be an objective type exam. The questions will be asked in the MCQ formIn this test, no negative marking will be given. Questions on the subjects mentioned below will be asked.
