Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test is the full name of the exam. Candidates vying for admission to different courses at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will be accepted based on their qualifying degrees, the National Level Test, or the University's IPU CET, depending on the course they wish to apply for. Admission to BTech, BA LLB, BBA LLB, LLM, and BArch programs will not require a CET.

• In March 2026, students can register for a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses for the IPU CET 2026.

• Candidates must upload scanned copies of all required paperwork in the designated format, including their signature and photo.

Application Fee:

 

• The application fee for IPU CET 2026 must be paid online by applicants.

• We will take credit cards, debit cards, net banking, and UPI as payment methods.

• The IPU CET 2026 application cost is Rs. 2,500 for all applicants.

• Under no circumstances can the application fee be reimbursed once it has been paid.

IPU CET 2026 Eligibility Criteria:-

For B.Tech:

 

• Age Requirement: As of August 1, 2026, applicants must not be older than 21.

• Qualifications: Applicants must have passed a recognized board's 12th grade exam.

• Subjects: English must be a fundamental subject in the qualifying exam, and physics, chemistry, and mathematics/biology/biotechnology must be required.

• Marks: To be eligible to apply, candidates must receive a total of 55% on their qualifying exam.

• Admission Requirements: To apply for a B.Tech program, candidates must have valid JEE Main test scores.

 

M.Tech: 

 

• Age Requirement: Students must be at least 35 years old on August 1, 2026, in order to apply.

• To be eligible to apply, candidates must possess a B.Tech or BE degree in a relevant discipline.

• Grades: Students must have earned at least 60% of the possible points in their qualifying degree.

• Admission Requirements: To be eligible, students must have passed the GATE, CET, or CUET exams.

• Exam duration: Students will have two hours and thirty minutes to complete the test.

• Medium: Only English will be available for the exam paper.

• A total of 400 marks will be awarded for the 100 questions on the question paper.

• Questions of the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type will be included in the exam paper.

• Marking Scheme: One mark will be subtracted for each incorrect response, and four marks will be awarded for each right answer.
