Amazon India officially unveiled Amazon Academy in the country as its edu-tech company. The latest offering is basically the rebranding of the JEE Ready app, which was released in December 2019. In addition, to live lectures and tests in Algebra, Physics, and Chemistry, it is touted to have curated learning content. Media reports say that Amazon's Indian subsidiary has been piloting the Amazon Academy for a few months in the region. Through the curated learning content, live tutorials, and detailed tests in Math, Physics, and Chemistry, the online training would equip students with in-depth expertise and practice routines needed for the JEE.

Amazon Academy For JEE Aspirants

The launch of the Amazon Academy was announced by Amazon India to help students train for the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) at engineering colleges. Through curated learning resources, live tutorials, and detailed examinations in Math, Physics, and Chemistry, the online training offering will equip students with in-depth expertise and practice routines required for the JEE, it said in a statement.
The organization said in a statement that the learning material and exam content available through Amazon Academy are produced by professional faculty from around the world. In addition to the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) engineering tests, the material tools provided across the portal can help students study for the BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMJEE, and MET examinations. The material is actually publicly accessible and will continue to be available for the next couple of months, the statement continued.
It is reported that Amazon Academy has specially designed mock tests with over 15,000 handpicked questions from industry experts, along with hints. At scheduled intervals, it also hosts life All India Mock Tests (AIMT). In addition, learners should also plan lessons or access issues for everyday instruction. For the next JEE main test, there is also a six-week crash course option.
Via customized reports with chapter-wise time and intensity review, the platform also helps students to evaluate their test results. There are also ways to look at current success and match results with other aspirants of JEE who have tried the exam on Amazon Academy in the same time slot.
Amazon Academy allows access to track success over time to recognize achievements as well as poor points in order to help engineering students boost their grades. It also provides insights into the general approach for test-taking.
Initially, Amazon provides the content for free through Amazon Academy, but, based on the popularity of the site, it can develop a price structure over time.
Our main emphasis was on the quality of content, deep learning analytics, and student experience. This launch will help young engineers train better and gain the winning edge in JEE,' said Amol Gurwara, Amazon India's Director of Education. We reached out on proposals for non-engineering disciplines to deliver edu-tech content, but an Amazon spokesperson said the company currently has no more details to share.
Amazon Academy is available in beta on the Web or through the Google Play-listed Android app.
Amazon is currently in progress, in addition to Amazon Academy, to launch its Future Engineer childhood-to-career program in the region. A boss was appointed to direct the project last month, with plans to make it operational sometime later this year.
