AILET 2021: All India Law Entrance Test Application process begins; Hurry up to register
The deadline to apply for the application process is May 20 and AILET examination will be held on June 20
National Law University (NLU), Delhi has announced the AILET 2021 (All India Law Entrance Test) application window. The application process for AILET has already begun. Candidates who are interested to appear in the examination can apply through the official website until May 20. It is to be noted that applications can only be submitted online by visiting their official website. In this condition, interested candidates will be able to fill the online application form through nludelhi.ac.in or nationalallawuniversitydelhi.in.
AILET 2021 test will take place on 20 June.
Earlier, the NLU changed the date of the exam to June 20. This exam was due to take place on May 2nd, but now it has been increased to June 20th. This was informed on the official website of the NLU. In fact, due to the conflict between the CBSE Board and the Law Entry Test date, the review was moved forward.
AILET 2021Examination Date
No information on the change in the date of the examination has been given in the notification released. However, it is assumed that the examination was moved forward by the CBSE Board of Review. The examination may now take place on June 20. The notification claimed that the All India Law Entry Test will now be conducted from 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. on 20 June. The review will be done in the five-year BALB (Hons), LLM and PhD programmes. The BA LLB programme has 110 AILET-based seats, while the LLM programme has 70 seats.
AILET 2021: Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants applying for PhD should have an LLM degree or equivalent law degree with 55 % aggregate. While candidates belonging to the SC, ST and PwD categories should have obtained 50% marks.
- Candidates who are applying for BA LLB need to qualify class XII with 45 % marks for general category and 40 % for others.
- On the other hand, applicants for LLM should have passed LLB with 50% marks (General category) or 45% marks (reserved category).
AILET 2021 Admit card date
Hall tickets for the Law Entry Exam will be released on 5 June. Admission to the five-year BALB (Hons), LLM and PhD programmes is carried out through the review. The BA LLB programme has 110 AILET-based seats, while the LLM programme has 70 seats. Applicants would have to pay 3050 rupees as an application fee. Although , the fee for SC, ST and PwD is Rs 1,050. Applicants who are below poverty line (SP / ST) category are exempted from the application fee.
