MU performs annual convocation ceremony

The Mumbai University Convocation for the 2020 academic year will take place on 1 February 2021. The name of Marathi (Devanagari) should be right for this reason on the degree certificate of students who have passed the exams of the different degree and post-graduate courses administered by the university in the first 2020 session. It will be made eligible for review from 22 January 2021 to 27 January 2021 before 5 pm on the website.

MU is one of the higher education institutions around the world that have practically agreed to hold convocation ceremonies this year. To check the details of the Marathi (Devanagari) name on the degree certificate, all students and colleges available can visit the university website and see if the details of the Marathi (Devanagari) name are correct. By giving the login ID and password, colleges can open the connection. There is also a different link for students to be corrected.
The University of Mumbai has agreed to hold its annual convocation ceremony online this year, taking into account the Covid-19 situation in the state at present. The ceremony is expected to take place on 28 February and will be broadcast live through www.mu.ac.in, the MU website.
"Students who graduated in the first and second half of 2020 will be sent degree/diploma certificates to their respective departments or institutes from which they graduated. The delivery of these certificates will be carried out by the individual institutes," a statement released by the university on Friday said.
Earlier this week, the university encouraged students to review their credential information on the MU website and to alert officials of any mistakes or changes to the details of the certificate, if any. Furthermore, the circular stated that the list of degree/diploma certificates with convocation numbers of candidates would be made available on the university website and that, at the time of collection of their certificates, candidates should mention these numbers and generate the same at their department or institutes.MU is one of the higher education institutions around the world that have practically agreed to hold convocation ceremonies this year.
