NEST Entrance Exam On June 14, 2021

The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) in Bhubaneswar and the Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences at the University of Mumbai both require the NEST exam for admission (UM-DAE CEBS). On June 14, 2021, the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2021 will be conducted. The examination application process has begun at nestexam.in. Candidates will apply on the official website until April 30. NEST 2021 will take place in 90 cities across India. From May 20, admit cards will be available.

Step to Apply for NEST 2021: The application for NEST 2021 is a two-step process. Candidates can find the “apply online” link on the official website, nestexam.in, on the homepage. They must log in and complete the application form after registering. NEST 2021 will be held in two sessions, one in the morning from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the other in the afternoon from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Candidates can choose up to five cities in which to take the exam. The NEST results will be used to pick students for 257 integrated MSc seats at NISER and the Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences at the University of Mumbai.

The Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, founded NISER and UM-DAE CEBS in 2007 to train “scientific manpower for carrying out cutting-edge scientific research and for providing input to scientific programs of the Department of Atomic Energy and other applied science institutions in the country.” Students studying for NEST will get past question papers and answers from the official website.

NEST 2021 Exam Pattern: The following information about the NEST Exam Pattern is needed for candidates.

Exam Mode: The NEST 2021 exam will be administered in an online (computer-based) format.

Time Duration: The test will be given a three-hour time limit to complete.

Questions Type: There will be multiple-choice questions on the question paper (MCQ).

Total marks: The questions will be 200 marks.

Sections: Physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology are among the topics covered in the four pages.
