CBSE Class 10 Exam 2021 Cancelled

CBSE Class 10 Exam Cancelled: The CBSE class 10 examinations have been cancelled, while the class 12 examinations have been postponed by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Exams for students in class 10 have been postponed due to the nationwide pandemic. According to a tweet from the Union Education Minister, CBSE class 10 students will be assessed using objective criteria developed by the Board.

Class 12 Board Exams Postponed: The CBSE Class 12 board exams, which were scheduled to be held from May 4th to June 14th, 2021, have been postponed and will be held later. The situation will be checked by officials on June 1, 2021, as per the minister, and the details will be shared subsequently. Students may also receive a 15-day notice prior to the start of the exams.

CBSE class 10 Results: Ramesh Pokhriyal, the Union Minister of Education, believes that "The results of the Class 10 Board will be released based on the objective criteria that the Board will develop. The minister went on to say that any candidate who is disappointed with the marks assigned to them will be given the opportunity to retake the exam as soon as the conditions allow it."

BSE class 10 Assessment Pattern expected to be followed: Since the CBSE has yet to release the full pattern for assessing class 10 students this year, it is expected that the board will use the assessment pattern based on the new NEP, which focuses on assessing students based on their skills. The union education minister had previously announced this assessment pattern as a new Assessment Framework for Science, Maths, and English classes as part of the CBSE competency-based education project.

New Assessment Framework: 40 assessment designers, 180 test item writers, and 360 monster trainer mentors will be qualified to use the framework to create model question banks and collections of lesson plans, as per the assessment framework. As per previous reports, the new framework will be implemented for students in grades 6 through 10. As per the new NEP 2020, the new assessment framework aims to replace the existing learning model with a competency-based framework. Students who are scheduled to take the CBSE board class 10 examinations can search the board's official website for complete information on the students' assessment.
