NATA 2021 Second Exam postponed, held in July


NATA Second Exam 2021: The revised NATA 2021 exam date for the second examination has been announced by the Council of Architecture (CoA). The second NATA 2021 test will now take place on July 11th. Because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the decision to postpone the NATA 2021 second test has been created. An updated NATA 2021 brochure for Test 2 will be available on the official website soon, according to the authorities. Previously, the NATA 2021 Second Test was scheduled for June 12th.


Official Notice About the Revised NATA 2021 Date: “In view of the seriousness of the second wave of COVID-19 and subsequent lockdowns being implemented in many states/UTs across the country for pandemic containment, the competent authority of the Council of Architecture has agreed that the second test of NATA 2021 review shall now be conducted on July 11 instead of the earlier scheduled date of June 12, 2021,” according to the official notification.

“The updated NATA brochure with revised essential dates for the Second test shall be uploaded shortly on the NATA website as well as the council website,” it continued. The NATA portal will remain open to make it easier for students to register for the Second Test.”

In the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic, the Ministry of Education has now relaxed the admission requirements. Candidates must have completed class 12 with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as compulsory subjects to be eligible to sit for the BArch entrance exam.


Second NATA 2021 Test: Application Procedure: On the official website, you can fill out an online NATA application form for 2021. Candidates who want to take the NATA 2021 second test should fill out and submit the application form at Candidates must register, fill out the application form, upload scanned images, pay the application fee, and take a printout of the confirmation page in order to apply for NATA 2021. Owing to the postponement of the second exam, there is a possibility that the NATA 2021 application deadline will be pushed back to satisfy the students.


First Test of NATA 2021: On the 10th of April, COA performed the NATA 2021 first exam, adhering to all COVID-19 guidelines. Phase 1 of the National Aptitude Test in Architecture 2021 was conducted in 196 test centres across India, as well as in Dubai, Qatar, Oman, and Kuwait. On April 20th, the authorities have released the results. The authorities reduced the NATA 2021 qualifying marks from 75 to 70 due to the COVID-19 situation across the region.


NATA 2021: Every year, the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is held for undergraduate BArch admissions. COA also loosened the NATA eligibility requirements this year. The NATA 2021 eligibility requirements for taking the BArch admission have been relaxed from obtaining at least 50% marks in Class 12 or 10+3 diploma to simply passing the board level exams. Qualified candidates will be able to apply for BArch admission at NATA-accredited institutions.
